I called home care assistance of greater htfd . Two people came to my house, Karen D. and a care coordinator. While there they observed me take mother to the bathroom. Both women were very confident that they could find a match for my mom. We will get right on it Karen said. Later that same day I called and left a message saying that I would use their services for Saturday and sunday. The next day Karen called back and said my house was dark and not safe, and she did not feel confident sending a worker to an unsafe place. I called back to speak to owner Cathy. She did not call me back but Karen did. She continued with the unsafe house nonsense. When I told her I would review her agency she raised her voice and said are you threatening me? I would not recommend this agency to anyone. I was desperate for help for my mother and they let me down. I was very disappointed and sad because I thought they could help me in my time of need. P.S. I have had care givers in my home for many years and all have survived the "unsafe" conditions.

They are very dependable, kind, and they really help out more than enough. They fix him meals and he has a good appetite. He really doesn't like to eat by himself, and with them fixing him meals, it's the best.

They were always able to fill the spot in short notice. The staff was experienced and knew what they were supposed to do. They didn't have much impact on my life with them dealing with my mother.

They communicate well and the people that they send do a good job. They screen well. They kept my loved one socializing with Alzheimer's to keep my loved one's brain active.

They seem to guess things before I ask. They are on the spot. I am feeling safer, they watch me and they take good care. I get pretty good assistance.
