My mother, who is in her 90's, needed some assistance with the activities of daily living. I, unfortuneately, could not take care of her everyday on a daily basis, so I decided to call Hope International Homecare for assistance. A Japanese caregiver comes to help her with cooking, cleaning, and provides companionship for my mother. At first my mother did not feel that she needed any help. But as time passed by, they themselves began to form a bond. Now my mother looks forward to seeing the Japanese caregiver coming over to cook Japanese food for her, speaking Japanese to her in her native tongue, and enjoying her companionship. Now, she is noticeably more talkative and happy. Her overall physical and mental health seems to have improved for the better. Thank you Hope! Emiko T/ Long Beach
