Previously, it has been very helpful with the person I had first. This other girl has not been that. I would like to see the scheduling improved. I have had a problem with scheduling. I have had one caregiver that is adequate and okay. She would be a good companion type of caregiver, but I am limited in the household things. I need them to do lifting that I am not able to do. I do have someone that comes in once a month to do some thorough cleaning. It is not a personality problem, but she is on a different level than what I need.

I would have to train every caregiver that would come in. It came to a point when they would not show up, and a substitute showed up. She said she couldn't do the care. There was a male caregiver that could care for us in respite care that was decent. It made my life miserable. Whenever I got back, I had to straighten things whenever I got back. SYNERGY left a whole lot of things lacking. I would like them to make sure they do a thorough background on all their caregivers and get rid of staff that have to makeup excuses that can't come to the jobs.

At this point, I do not know how they could have a great impact. I am just puzzled about how my care should have been free through my insurance. I am getting a bill, so I am not very happy. The service is good though. SYNERGY HomeCare is good; however, I do not agree with their billing. They are charging me 90 dollars for something, and I do not know what for since my insurance should taken care of it.

We've been very satisfied with Synergy HomeCare Sun City. My mother likes the person and the care has been good. We've had no issues. I only needed three hours a week and the others were a minimum of four, and Synergy worked with me to accomodate my needs. They help her take a bath, change her sheets, and do light housecleaning. They're doing well. They give good, attentive care. We're very happy.

I don't have a specific answer to that but the caregiver coming is doing everything I ask her to do and is doing a nice job. There have been a couple of times where she hasn't followed directions but I'm not sure if that's my fault or not. It wasn't anything serious. A couple of times, I get not the most timely calls back from the office. Sometimes I can't get ahold of my caregiver directly.

We've had Synergy for about four years but it’s just once a week basis for a few hours. But six weeks ago my brother, John fell down in the middle of the night and I didn’t find him until the morning. I had him rushed to the hospital and he was in the hospital for a week. They couldn't find any place to put him from rehab but after talking to Synergy I decide to bring him home and rehab him there with their caregivers 24 hours a day. And it just worked out beautifully. John couldn't even walk when we brought him home from the hospital. I had to have a hospital or medical transport bring him home and we had a caregiver here waiting with my sister. Between the medical transport guy and the male caregiver from Synergy, we got him into bed. Then over the course of the last 5 weeks we got him walking. He's just doing great! Synergy helped me with everything. I mean they did anything and everything I asked. It was just wonderful. I wanted to say that it was not just one or two caregivers. There were 10 different caregivers over the course of five weeks and every one of them was wonderful. They were all different but one was just as good as the other. I could relax and sleep at night knowing that they were here and taking care of him. Plus my sister and I were staying 24 hours a day at the hospital so we were exhausted. My sister doesn't live her, she went home and so I was really exhausted. I was able to sleep while they took care of John at night to take him into the rest room because we still didn't get a potty chair delivered. The gal that came the first night just got him into the wheelchair, to the bathroom and helped him to the toilet. They also did the laundry, stayed here while I ran to the grocery store and pharmacy. And now, John is doing well enough that we're back to our once a week as soon as I catch up on everything.

Each went out of their way to ask if I was eating to stay strong and always wanted to help in any way to lighten my load. We were referred to Synergy by the nurse at Mom and Dad's church. We have been amazed at the compassion, kindness and professionalism of the care providers and office staff of Synergy. My brother and I live out of state and initially were worried about leaving Mom and Dad with people we didn't know. What a relief to have found Synergy! Dad passed away several months ago and because of Synergy he died in peace in the comfort of his own home. All of the care providers loved Dad and they continue to lovingly care for Mom round the clock. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful company!

We came from out of town in response to my father-in-law's sudden decline in health. As his illness was terminal, we were very fortunate to be able to honor his wishes to remain in home hospice care. This necessitated our finding a suitable care-giver arrangement as quickly as possible. The hospice staff gave us several resources and we quickly settled on the first agency we contacted. From the first phone call, we received only very professional, empathetic and very prompt responses from the folks at Synergy. They continued to communicate with us frequently and effectively even after we had to return home and leave my father-in-law in their care. The care coordinator and the caregivers were all wonderful and cared for my father-in-law with sensitivity and kindness. He had only good things to say about them and, as a result, my father-in-law was able to remain and die in comfort and with dignity in his own home. We would certainly recommend Synergy to anyone looking for at home care for a loved one.
