The Gardens Apartments

My friend chose The Gardens Apartments because it's very, very nice and within her price range. It's not institutional. It's very much like an old European hotel. The staff is nice. I haven't had that much contact with anyone, but a few, and they treated us nicely. They answered anything we wanted to ask. We had some food there, and it needs improvement. An outside firm brings in food. They have alternatives, but there's not a large selection, just normally two choices. It was a Catholic hospital at one time, and this building was the monastery. You come to the third floor because it's on a hillside. As you come in, it's got a full glass roof, and the inside is open. You look down onto the eating area, which is on the first floor, and it has greenery down there and a little pond. The whole look is with lots of murals and is colorful. They have some exercise. It's a small place. They have a game room, games, music time, and things like that, but as far as physical activity, it is a bit limited. We looked at some of the others in bigger outfits, and they're so expensive. We picked it because it's a quiet, pleasant place to live. She's there to just enjoy a pretty little apartment and quiet activities. It's kind of hard to get into because it is small, but her room is nice.
