Hyland Crossings Memory Care was very clean and very neat. It is a place that I'd be happy to have my father go into. The staff appeared to be able to take care of everyone's needs. They are very attentive to everyone. They have a TV, puzzle room, and craft room. People seemed to be enjoying themselves. The rooms are really comfortable. It felt homey. They had showers in them and everything, so it was pretty nice.

Hyland Crossings is an assisted living community in Sun Prairie, a small suburb of Madison, WI. Sun Prairie has a quaint, walkable downtown area for local needs, and seniors can quickly visit Madison for the amenities a larger metro area affords.
Hyland Crossings is a thoughtfully designed memory care home that allows residents to easily navigate the common areas and stay safe in their private apartments, complete with grab bars in the bathrooms and emergency call buttons. On-site nurses are available for health oversight and wellness checks. All personal care services are given by certified professionals, trained in the special needs of those with Alzheimer's or dementia. Specific care includes ADL assistance, administered injections and medication administration. The community is secured around the clock, with staff trained in de-escalating exit-seeking behavior and disorientation. Both studio and handicapped-accessible accommodations are available.
Catholic and Protestant religious services are conducted here, allowing residents to worship in their own home. Beauty treatments for all occasions are administered by visiting beauticians. A full-time activity director helps curate activities intended to meet the needs of residents, such as a ForeverFit exercise program that includes chair yoga and games to help residents keep their wits sharp. Music therapy entertains residents and helps with memory retention.
