My cousin moved into Kapes Lakeside Assisted Living 2 months ago. We chose it because she has a dog, and hardly any places will take animals. Her plan has 3 meals included, they're looking out for her, and they're helping her with medications. I have tried the food there and it was really good. It was a home-cooked meal. The family can come in and give something for them to eat. They don't have a lot of activities other than church services. She walks her dog outside mainly. I suppose they could add some other activities for their residents.

Kapes Lakeside Assisted Living is good. All the staff here is good. It's a real small community, so you kinda know everybody. The food is good. We get served three meals a day. It's pretty square meals, delicious food. We do activities here, but not so much as we used to because of the COVID. There are limitations as to what we can do, but we still do get together, we do exercises, bingo, and church. We always have something. It's very nice here. We've had some little shortages off and on with the staff in the kitchen, so it's hard to get them to know your likes and dislikes over again. It's a pretty good value for what I have to pay. I have my own little unit, and it's just like having my own little apartment here.
