I was in Bethany St. Joseph Care Center for rehab a couple of weeks because I had surgery. I also visited people in that facility. They were very good. Considering that institutional food wasn't very good, they did a fairly good job even on food. Overall, their staff was quite good. Their place was very clean, and their maintenance seems quite good, too. It's an institution, so it wasn't too great, and I don't think any of them are. My wife had been in several nursing homes previously and this was quite a bit better than those she was in. I was there in June of 2019, and my insurance paid for the entire thing.

There are a host of things that made me uncomfortable with bringing my Aunt to this place and I am glad checked this place out prior. First they seem to not have enough staff, I came during regular business hours but there was noone at the front desk second with the appearance of being short staffed not seeing hardly any nurses in the hallways and passing by rooms that reeked with odor this was all we needed to go in a different direction.

Bethany St Joseph Care Center was really good. The rooms were wonderful; it was like a 5-star resort, and I would highly recommend it. They have 4 or 5 different dining areas. My mother’s apartment has a fireplac,e and it’s wonderful. My mother has raved about the food ever since; she says she loves it. They have a ton of activities for them. They have stuff in-house, and they take them on field trips outside the place.

BSJ Memory Care unit has well trained staff who anticipate residents" needs in an unfilingly cheerful manner. Their mantra is "reassure and re-direct" which they do wonderfully well. Their missioin statement includes providing hope for residents. And they succeed
