My mom is at Angel's Touch Personal Home Care - Saint Albans. It's a really small home. They only have four residents there, so she's doing well. She doesn't need a great big facility with all the activities. She isn't able to do that anyway. She needs a small and more one-on-one care. It's also within her budget. She has her own private room. It's a nice-sized room with a closet. They provide the TV and the cable service. She doesn't have to pay for any of those extras, which she had to in the other places. All the costs are inclusive. The place is very clean, very homey, and cozy. There's plenty of room. They have a little Yorkie dog that is like a support animal. Everybody really enjoys playing with him. The food is good; it's home-cooked meals. It's a really homey environment. The staff communicate really well. The place doesn't smell. It is just right. My mom can't do a whole lot of activities, but they offer them. The only thing is that she is incontinent, so I have to provide those supplies. That's fine, though. I just had an Amazon order delivered there. So, I think the value is very good. Also, there is a nurse practitioner who travels in and takes care of my mom. She told me herself that Angel's Touch is a very good place. She would trust her loved one there. All that does for me is it reassures me that we did the right thing by moving her into this place.

My sister-in-law has moved into Angel's Touch Care Home. We chose this place because of recommendations. Overall, it's excellent. I like the care given to her, the food, and all the personal attention she gets. The staff was excellent. The facility is very nice. It's clean and decorated nicely as if you're living at home. They will take them out and do different trips, like a field trip, but the patients that are there right now are bedfast, so they don't go anywhere. They have a family room that has a large screen TV with lift chairs that they can go into and mingle with if they want to. But it's a maximum of three patients in this personal care home.
