I lived in Mountlake Senior Living Apartments. It's under what we call SHAG, or the Senior Housing Assistance Group, and they have 30 facilities in the Seattle area, including this one in Mountlake Terrace. It's a very nice and very well-maintained facility. It was a nice place to live for five years. It had very nice people, and they got along well. It's a small facility, so it doesn't have some of the amenities that other places have, but it's quite livable and quite pleasant. It doesn't have the kind of full range of activities and offerings that the other buildings have. This was a small one, but it was a very tight-knit community where everyone knew everyone else, and everyone cooperated, so it was a very pleasant place to live. The only reason I would mark it down is that it doesn't have the kind of facilities other places have, but in terms of places to live, it was just fine. The staff was also excellent. When it comes to value, I didn't get any of the benefits of the reduced rate. Seattle is expensive, and they also kept going up on the rental rates every year. I didn't get as much value in terms of the reduction in rental rates like I get here in my new apartment building. Here, they have a co-op, so this is all based on HUD funding. I don't think they're using HUD funding or some other funding in Seattle. They're going by certain regulations, but because of the high cost of living, the value in Seattle is not as good as it is here in my new place. They did the best they could with what they had, though.
