Regency Harmony House was selected for my spouse because of its close proximity to where we live. It's under new management. I think that they have all different levels and all of the elements that people have as we get older. I wouldn't recommend it; it was rather dreary. However, it served the purpose when we needed it. They also did a great job, but it was depressing. I think the food was fairly good. The residents can choose what they preferred. They were given a selection, that part was OK. Overall, it was a pretty good.

Horrible! All they care about is making thier job easy as possible. They are not skilled in very many problems the elder has. No communication from them to the families or Power of Attorneys. The give our mom and dad anti psychodic meds instead of redirecting and helping. Drugs are their answer to everything. Very limited in skills. Most terrible company I have ever dealt with!!

The location of Harmony House is close to where my relatives are. They got excellent staff. The facility is locally-owned and it's just a small facility of about 50 beds. The place is very clean, very nice, and pretty new. The rooms are very nice.

When I went visited this facility I was immediatly drawn to the residents at The Harmony House. They seemed very happy and comfortable with their home. I talked to many residents that had lived there from 5 months to 8 years. I felt many emotions when talking with this residents. I, being hispanic, could not fully understand why elder folks had to be taken to a place where only strangers took care of them. As a hispanic it is tradition for the oldest or most responsible to keep your aging parents. But lifestyle here in the states are very different. From the reactions and conversations I was made a change of heart and thought that if I was ever placed in the decision to ever put my parents in an assited living facility, I would definitely choose The Harmony House. The staff there was warming and always willing to learn about their residents. Anything from their favorite snack to the exact schedule for their medication. I was very pleased to come to this facility.
