Silverado Bellingham was a nice facility. I toured the memory care and everybody seemed to be very nice and caring. It was a clean environment and the facility was beautiful. They were very informative and nice. The room was nice and decent. It's not a luxury or anything, but it was clean and good enough.

I visited the Silverado Bellingham and loved it. That would be my number-one choice. They're keeping the people engaged, I think it's excellent, but it depends upon financing; that's my only drawback. I thought the rooms were excellent. They have single rooms that you're going to pay more for, and they have double rooms, but they have plenty of space for their clients there. They have a couple of activity rooms for them. One would be if you wanted to watch movies, and the other if you wanted to do hands-on activities. They had gardening in their little outdoor, enclosed area for people who liked to garden, they had a place where you could have your hair done, and you could go in the kitchen and help them cook. Lea is excellent.

Silverado Bellingham is beautiful and my mom's room is small but very nice. The staff members all seemed really nice and they seem to like my mom a lot. There are 2 dining areas and they are both very nice. The building itself is new, light and bright. I have not eaten there yet but mom says it's good. They help my mom out of the room and they really do a good job with that. They keep her out and involved in the activities, they have singing and trivia types of games. It's expensive in terms of cost, but it seems worth paying for me. One of the things I really like about this community is that it's all dementia care, and the only thing that could get you kicked out of there is violent behavior. I like the openness of the community. They have a hallway for people that are mild to moderate and another hallway for people that are severe, and I like that.
