"I went to visit a friend in Riverside Health & Rehab Center. Everything was kind of tight. It was just OK. There wasn't anything special about it. It was clean. The staff was friendly, but it just didn't make you feel happy there. Everything was close together. It was just not a place where I would feel comfortable with my loved one there, it just seemed like just the place to be. They have physical therapy. They have a beautician. They have some activity. They provide transportation to doctor's visits and such."

"I have accompanied my husband on several occasions to this nursing home when his parents were both staying here for rehabilitation purposes. During each instance, their stay was approximately for thirty to forty-five days. I observed the staff to be very friendly and attentive to their needs. At times, my mother-in-law could be very difficult and demanding to some of the nursing staff at this facility. Nevertheless, they were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that they had all the snacks that were requested from the cafeteria and any other necessities. The amenities of this facility were more than adequate for the needs of my in-laws. They had a calendar posted in the rooms with daily activities and religious ceremonies that were held at the facility. The facility was not as attractive as some of the others in the area, but appeared to be clean and orderly during my visits. Overall, I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone considering nursing home placement for their loved one. "

"The rehab facility where my wife is at is called The Stratford Rehabilitation Center. My wife has been pleased with it and I have been satisfied with it. They have been most accommodating. My wife has gotten a lot of therapy there. The therapy has just been most helpful, both physical and occupational. Although it is an older site, and it needs to be rehabilitated in my opinion, but I have no complaints about it. My wife was sick when she went there, and they accommodated her very well, serving her needs. With the staff that they have, I have no complaints about them whatsoever. They attempt to respond to emergency calls, and I have seen that not only with my wife but with others as well. So I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and their services. "

"My father is Raymond Hardy, I am his daughter, he is 102. He feel and broke his hip. He is getting the best care. They lose his teeth and they are being replaced by Roman Eagle. Food is really good and so is his Rehab."

"I think this facility is pretty good. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The food is not so great but of course it could be what grandma has to eat. I do have a problem with them not turning her like they should She has developed a bed sore and they do not turn her properly. The overall cleaning is ok. I think they could be a lot cleaner. It would also help if they removed some of the stuff out of the hallway. There are stretchers, carts, wheel chairs and misc items all over the hallway. Sometimes the patients are rather rude but I guess it is because they have major problems. They rarely taker her outside and she loves the outdoors. It is in a fairly decent location in Danville though. Most places in the area seem to be in sketchy neighborhoods but this one is not so bad. "

Her room looks small, but very accommodating. She likes the food a lot. I think the dining room is good. They have movies, Wii activities, and church. "

"I liked Caswell House better than other places. My father was up there as well as some other people I know who are still there. I know they have some activities. They had a place where people could go outside with somebody to monitor them. They accept Medicaid. The staff was very helpful. The room was a nice, big room with one person per room. The dining area was like a cafeteria setting, but they had a couple of dining areas, which were all fine with me. I liked that the people were nice, and it was close to where I live. It was very clean. We were very satisfied when my father was there. I would definitely recommend them to others. "

"We've been to The Bayberry Inn 3 times, and my mom's already got a room reserved. It's closer to where we're gonna be living, she didn't wanna be too far away that she couldn't drive to our house. It was the closest one we can find that's suitable to her. The staff is excellent they're the best; real friendly and nice. It's a small community, they only have 21 rooms so it's small, and they treat them like family. It's very clean, in excellent condition, and actually the room mom is getting is being painted, and new carpet, new tile in the bathroom, and they're gonna steam clean the curtains, and they take real good care of it. They've had no COVID in there at all, and they're picky of who comes to visit. It's just an excellent place. The layout is all indoors, and momma wouldn't have to go out in the weather to go somewhere and visit somebody, and now she does. It just got a nice, real nice homely feeling to it. They clean the rooms every day if you want them, they supply furniture, but mom wants to bring her own, and they take them on trips, they do games, crafts, bingo, and chair exercises."

"Penn Nursing Center was very clean, and there was no smell of urine. The staff was attentive to the patients. The rooms were clean and neat. They are part of the hospital system. I didn’t see any problems with it. The grounds were very well-maintained, very secure, and easy to get to. "

"My mom has been staying at Avante at Reidsville. She's doing great and the place is awesome. It's easy to go around, but the place has a smell down the hall. My mom does a lot of physical therapy and all the women love her. She is babied and they dote on her. Pat, the nurse, is just awesome, and does everything for my mother. She's great and we're very happy. They have a library, workout room, a room where you can just go to sit, talk, and watch TV, and a really nice dining room. They also have a salon where she can get her hair and nails done, and she's really happy about that."
