Sea Breeze Rehab And Nursing Center is doing very well with my mom. She's improved and she's happy there. She's getting physical and occupational therapy. The only thing is, it's hard visiting right now with COVID. You have to make an appointment and I can only see her three times a week. You have to wait and you can't go in, and then they bring them outside, but they've been very wonderful. From the outside, they try to make the place happy. There are nice flowering shrubs with seating and there's a courtyard that's covered, so it's comfortable.

Medicare gives them one star and put them under investigation. Check with Texas City police records The doctor said he would die from bedsores. Check channel 11 news for priors His case manager said it the worst she had ever seen. He’d had a stroke and could not feed himself. So they put the plate in front of him and then threw it away.

The nurses and aides don't care about the patients. My husband is there as medicaid pending bed and I am horrified and distressed about what I am seeing. I wish I could attach pictures of bruises, purple feet, his very dirty skin from not bathing him, etc. They ignore him for hours, he supposedly fell out of bed which if true tells me they left him alone for HOURS as he is unable to roll on his own. I took pictures of bruises on both thighs and now one arm. They told me they have given him showers but his skin feels like they haven't washed him since he got here. He's hadn't left the bed once since he got there except when they moved him and they literally were so lazy and uncaring, they didn't bother to find a food rest for his one unmoving leg and his foot was drug on the cold tile floor. The old administrator said she got permission so I could bring one service dog in for 1 hour a day as my husband loves her a lot, the new one gave me attitude said I couldn't bring it in, said she needed a vest and she wanted documents but still said she wasnt allowed in and to get her out. I will admit I lost my temper but I tried to explain the ADA law and she didn't wanna listen. After that they moved my husband to another hall, and left me a message almost 2 hours later, I know this cause I was in the room when they moved him. It would have broke me to walk into that room and not see him or his stuff. It takes them over an hour to get his meds, I have NEVER seen them give him his regular meds that at the shoal he was taking 3 times daily. It took over 2 weeks to get his tramadol, pain meds, so what were they giving him when he was in pain. I think he has two more weeks stuck in this horrible place. I hope they get shut down. If I push the help button, it takes well over an hour to even have someone check, no one ever knows who is taking care of my husband. Please unless you absolutely have to, take them anywhere but here. Rooms are double beds with 1 tv for some reason, I'm guessing most room have two night stands but I was told they had none to give to my husband when they moved him. I asked about the one he just left. They said it's being used....I walked there, it's not. There are empty spots a night stand could be taken from so my husband doesn't have to leave everything on his broken meal table. The staff except for a very few like 4 are always rude and dismissive or flat out ignore you.

Since the new owners I have fallen in love with this facility... They take amazing care of my father. Always keeping me posted on the things he is doing or will be doing. The staff is very caring and greet me and my children by name, and always talking about my dad. They are also very patient.
