I confidently recommend Steven & Gretchen’s Country Home Personal Care as the best local residence to place your loved one when it is no longer safe to care for them yourself. It turns out the reason for Mom’s gradual weakness was a hidden infection that Gretchen caught immediately. After a short stay at the hospital, Gretchen was able to get her on a safe course of meds, offer tender loving care, and do what we were no longer capable of doing- transport her safely from bed to shower, to chair, etc. Instead of my worst fears coming true, Mom has adjusted well, is ready to spend her last months/years in this home and best of all, she loves this family. (She has been there a month). I feel Mom is in a safe place should the future become more difficult. The Hooks are prepared for adverse events and are staying informed and ahead of things. I feel very blessed to have met Gretchen at church because she is dedicated and enjoys her work, which gives our family tremendous peace of mind. PS, Resting on the porch in the country with Mom has been my new favorite pastime.

This facility offers high quality care and has been a blessing to our family. We looked for a long time for a facility that was able to offer personalized care for my husband and Country Home Personal Care does that and much more. The private rooms are spacious and clean. Gretchen is very easy to work with and I highly recommend this facility.
