My mother-in-law has moved into Trinity Shores of Port Lavaca. She was there for rehab in June and she just got moved into the assisted care this past week. The facilities are very nice. They've got nice- sized rooms and all that, but as far as all the services and everything they offer, I'm not that familiar with it yet. It's very clean, the staff is friendly, and it's convenient. It's close to where she lived. When she was in rehab, they were very caring and very friendly, they watched after her, and we were satisfied with the staff. I know at this point in time they're trying to encourage her to get more involved with what the programs they have. They have a calendar of activities listed every day.

I toured Trinity Shores of Port Lavaca. The tour went well. The facility was very nice, and the rooms were very nice. You have to provide your furniture. I was very pleased with it. The staff Brenda was very caring and very knowledgeable, and she helped me very much. I didn't try the food or anything, but it looked good. The staff said they have several activities a day. They have the YMCA that comes in, and they have exercises with the people who want to. She said they love it. They have a movie room, and it was very nice. The staff was very nice. The place was very clean and very nice.

Trinity Shores of Port Lavaca is a lovely place. I have always liked them. They were very nice, the place was very clean, the dining room was lovely and they engaged with their people. The person who accommodated me was very kind. They had a hair salon, they did nails there, and they cut men's hair, too.

The grounds are very nice and despite what some residents will tell you, the food coming out of the kitchen is good. I've always been pleased in my dealings with the staff and would suggest this facility to anyone looking for one in the area. Everyone working there seems very qualified. The only catch is that it's a baptist facility and they don't allow pets. This may not bother some but will be an issue for others. We looked at other facilities in Victoria and other towns and found this one to be just as good if not better. Nice wide hallways for rascals and everything is well lit. The local highschool sends students over frequently to do activities with the residents. There are always lots of decorations up in the hallways giving the place a more cheerful and less clinical feeling. Our family has been pleased with this choice and you will be, too.
