Governor's Ridge was a little newer, but the rooms were extremely small. I wasn't able to see a one-bedroom unit because they didn't have one available to look at, so that was a negative. I thought the grounds weren't kept quite as nice as they should be. The location was decent, but out of the way a little bit. The activities seemed adequate. Their pricing was rather high.

My mother has been living in Governor's Ridge for about four years, and they are like family to her. She has all kinds of activities to be involved in, and the service she receives from the staff has been excellent. I would recommend this Assisted Living Home to anyone who needs a little help in living on their own. I can rest each night KNOWING that my mother is receiving quality care.

My dad is on the waiting list for Governor's Ridge. I liked the facility. I thought it was fine, and the person who took me on a tour did a very good job. It looked very clean. They were taking the residents shopping, and they have games and exercises.

I would like to thank each and every employee for their loving care during our stay at Governor’s Ridge. The facility is first class but the outstanding feature was the employee’s dedication to serving the residents. The staff at Governor’s Ridge has done an excellent job of providing multi-talented employees with beaming personalities to provide the daily needs of the residents. We had the hard choice of finding a place for my mom and luckily we found Governor's Ridge! It has a nice country setting, but it's convenient to the city. We could rest at night knowing that we could trust the staff on duty to take care of her needs at all times. In fact, they called with any concerns regularly to get our input on Mom's care, etc. One thing we noticed was how the various staff members from the Director, to the kitchen staff, to the attendants -- they were all very loving and concerned with our Mom's well-being, as well as all the other residents. We witnessed it in many ways. Can't recommend Governor's Ridge highly enough!

Governor's Ridge offers nice amenities for the residents that live within it, including the individual that was visited. There were some concerns about the staff of the facility, who were overheard using foul language and referencing parties in which they had consumed alcohol. The facilities were overall well-kept and aesthetically pleasing.
