My father was in Argent Court Bastrop two years ago. People in the community were very friendly with just overworked and understaffed. Facilities were pretty good; not the cleanest, but not the worst either. They have a courtyard that's enclosed within the facility. Prior to covid, it was not locked down, but after covid it was. They had some activities like games in their activity area. They had a little library in there, which I thought was very nice. They could go borrow books or take books and bring them back for them. That was nice, and they had puzzles in that other area where the library was. The staff was very good, considering how many people they had to wait on. The residents did not like the food, but I thought it was OK and better than a nursing home.

I went to Argent Court Bastrop. The facility is nice. There weren't very many people in there that we saw. They have all the different levels of care. The respite suites look nice. It's just that my mom is further along towards dementia than they are capable of handling. So, it didn't look like a good fit. And they don't have the diabetes monitoring that we need there, so we couldn't consider them. That's why we're going to look at another facility tomorrow because they seem to have a better system in place. The bathroom setup was nice. The rooms were a little small, but they seemed nice. There was a library, a courtyard, a dining area, and a bingo room. They had all that set up. They had a meeting room, and everything looked nice. People learned bingo at the time that we were there and they have a little front room with the old fireplace. They had rocking chairs out front. Some people were sitting out there when we got up there and there wasn't anybody in the courtyard because it was too hot. Everybody seemed happy and nice, and everybody seemed fine.

I liked Argent Court Bastrop. It was very clean and laid out well. The staff during the tour was brand new and she was pretty young. I wasn't confident with her knowledge. I didn't go too far because they did not have the memory care that my father needed in later stages. I wanted someplace where I didn't need to move him once he got to that and they didn't have that available. The dining area was very typical of assisted living. It was well-lit and spacious. There are a lot of residents. There was quite a bit going on. Because it's much closer to me, I would like to see that they come up with a memory care and the locked doors, so that I could place my father there.

Argent Court was very nice, it was larger than the other place I went to, but it was a bit older. The staff was very helpful, they had a big board for activities, we saw them brought out a group of people in a van, and they were dining in a restaurant. They had a salon, and a reading area.

Argent Court was clean but too expensive. You dont pay for your food. I had a good impression of the staff. Theyre only on one level, and the rooms had a kitchenette.

This place is really nice! It’s clean, smells good, the residents are happy, and the food is good. I can’t wait to retire and move in too.

We visited Argent Court. It looked like the residents were enjoying themselves and the food looked good. They serve three meals a day, they take the residents places in their van to the doctor, and shopping, and they have an outdoor courtyard. They showed me two different models of a 1-bedroom. The staff was friendly and informative. However, they need more varies nurse. They didn't have any RNs, only LPNs. The living area was not large enough for the residents, it could have been a little cleaner, and the age of the facility is starting to show.

We toured Argent Court Bastrop. I was really impressed with it. It’s really very clean and had a beautiful dining area. They had a place where people could go and have parties. They had a lot of activities. Once a week, they take a trip to Wal-Mart and go out twice during the week. They have movie night and game night and some activities during the day, like pottery. The staff that assisted me was really nice and really helpful. Everyone was pleasant.

The main thing about placing mom at Argent Court Bastrop is that she is in a very secure and safe place. They do activities every day of the week, like going on tours, and they provide transportation for doctors' appointments. I believe they also have church services on Sundays, social events, and live music where people come in to play. There is always something going on for their residents.

Argent Court is the only one in Bastrop. The people that worked there are really friendly and approachable. The common area was nice, but the apartments were really small, and like a hotel suite. They had a variety of activities.

Spacious common areas with lots of living plants. Staff appears to know all residents and know where the residents might be at any given time. Facility was clean, looks new. H.E.B. is just around the corner from Argent Court. Meals are served at set times, however, the small kitchenette area in each room would allow for keeping snacks and perhaps a small meal or two. There are small areas where a family might eat together outside of the dining room. Residents were pleasant, and friendly. Activity choices appear to be many and varied.
