My husband has been admitted to Nhc Healthcare, Sparta. The care they provide is fair. He is comfortable in his room, but it was not cleaned well before he was moved into it. I spoke with the administrator about that and they had since corrected the issue. They have a very large courtyard with a wooden deck that could probably accommodate 100 people. They have a couple of family rooms. It was the first hospital in Sparta and it was turned into a nursing home. The food is boring, usually not hot, and they're not attractively served. I go in every other day, but they always call if there's an issue. The place needs some tender loving care. They just redid some floors, but some of their rooms are in dire need of updating.

Nhc Healthcare, Sparta is OK. The nurses are on their toes with my husband. Whatever he needs, they can get it. The only thing that I would have to say is they don't really have enough people working there to keep things clean. Things could be better, but they just don't seem to have enough maintenance people there. My husband's room is comfortable. The food is good and he has never complained about the food. It's like home cooking. They have puzzles, and the other day they had pumpkin painting. They also have activities in the cafeteria for them daily.
