My brother is in Stroudsburg Post Acute Nursing & Rehabilitation for long-term care. He's in a room with another person, he gets three meals a day, and they make sure he gets his vitamins. He has a nurse who deals with him every day, and he gets his showers every other day or twice a week or something like that. He has a podiatrist who comes by and checks his feet and cuts his toenails. His doctor also visits him. I was told he's on the premises. The place is very nice and very clean, and everybody's friendly. His room is always clean when we come there, and they change the sheets twice a week. It's only two floors, and on his floor, the room for activities is small, so he doesn't go in there. He said either he goes down to the big room or he stays in his room. I don't think there's much in the activity part. He does have someone who comes by and exercises his legs, hands, and arms, takes him for a walk, and makes sure he's okay. They probably have activities during the week because when we're there on Saturdays, nothing is going on. It also might be because we stay in his room mostly.
