"Rochelle, the person I met up with here, was wonderful and really great with the patients and residents. I loved her. The facility was very nice and welcoming. Their rooms were large, but the hallways were long. It reminded me of a nursing home, and I couldn't get past that. Otherwise, I absolutely adored the facility, the workers, and Rochelle. I don't know how to improve or change a long hallway, but maybe put some furniture in the hallway to break it up so that if you're looking down, you don't just see doors. It just really felt like a nursing home or a hospital, and my mom wouldn't like that. "

My mom enjoyed the food; all of the food was very good. She did bingo and we went to a mass. They had happy hour and social days. The activities were very good."

"Paramount Senior Living at Bethel Park is a really nice, well-maintained, clean facility. It’s a really nice place. They take them out and have all kinds of activities daily. It’s a very active, inviting community. My mom is getting really good care. My mom’s room is a one-bedroom and one of the bigger and more spacious rooms that I have seen. I would definitely recommend this facility to others. "

"I looked at the memory care facility of Halcyon at Bridgeville for my husband. I really liked it because the cost was within reason. It also seemed to have all the other amenities that the other memory care facility has. It's close to home too. They have a nice, single room or double room. They have areas where the residents can congregate, and they have a smaller dining area. They have activities that are available. They even had an outside space, which was nice. It's pretty much OK and hits all the boxes for us. The cleanliness looks fine and the person who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and provided everything I needed as far as the answers."

"My mom moved into Whitetail Springs Assisted Living and Memory Care. We chose it because their care level was higher than the other places we went to. She's got dementia, and the thing that made our decision for us was that they checked on her more in the evening. They have motion sensors in the room. So if she moves or starts to wander, it triggers, and they scoop her up before anything happens. This place had a higher level of security at night. Her apartment was the biggest one that they had available. It's very large and it's like a nicer hotel room. It's a very nice place. She likes the food. They feed her quite well and are very attentive. They'll make something else for her if she doesn't like something. So they have some flexibility there. They keep them busy and have a lot of activities that are suited to their needs of the people who are there. The cost was very similar to what we would be paying elsewhere, maybe a bit higher, but given the extra layer of care they put on in the evening, it's worth it."

"My mom is there the last couple months and this place is amazing they have a ha dedicated team of personal Aides , the food is amazing and the management keeps the place clean and nice now it with the new management in place things got even batter thanks Toni (she is the administrator) I would recommend this place for anyone that is looking for a place for a close one a place that they could feel at home and bean taking care of Thanks Peter"

"I liked Woodcrest Senior Living Community very much, but you have to share washers and dryers, and that didn't make me very happy. The staff was all very personable and the clients seemed very happy. The one-bedroom apartment was more than enough and I was pleased with it. I would highly recommend the facility. It's extremely well kept, and the staff and clients were extremely pleasant. Everybody seemed happy. It seemed to run very smoothly. They have a very big activity list. They have three levels of care. If you go to the next level of care, the care comes to you in your apartment, but if you need skilled around-the-clock nursing, they don't have that. It's nice financially. This is in Southwest, Pennsylvania, so it's very economical. Everything is on a single floor, so you don't need to go outside, but it's also off the main street/a highway, so you can walk outside. Everything was very good about it. I was very pleased with the staff, the clients, the facility, and all that they had to offer."

"This PCH is one of the best in Duquesne I just placed my father here and he loves it! All the staff is friendly food is EXCELLENT should be starred on television or something of that sort rooms are a very nice size, activities are also provided for them to do, vending machines on site they can also come and go as they please if signed in or out. If you’re thinking about putting a loved one here DO IT! You won’t regret it thank you sycamore."

"My mom will move into Point Pleasant Retirement. When she walked in, the first thing that caught her eye was the fireplace in the lobby. It seemed to be a gathering place. And then she also went a little farther, there was a four-season room, and then you could go outside from there, which looks over a fairly big valley. I don't know if that's the Turtle Creek Valley or what it is, but it does look out over a fairly big valley and there's nothing behind it. So all she can see is trees. And that's good for her. She went into the dining area and she liked that. The second time we were there, we were at the start of dinner. So we didn't eat there, but she did see how the service was running, and she was okay with that. They do supply a refrigerator and a microwave. There is no cooking place in the apartment unless you bring, say, your own air fryer or slow cooker or something like that. The staff was very good. It appeared to be clean everywhere we went."

"I liked that Standish S Assisted Living was a more private place and the lady I talked to was understanding. She sat down and talked to us, even though she didn't know we were coming, and she helped us out and wasn't pushing or anything like that. She was awesome. It was a very clean, quiet, and nice place too. They have a lounge room and the room was clean and cozy. We were pretty happy with that."

"I VISITED MY BROTHER IN THIS PLACE. HE IS ON A WALKER AND OXYGEN AND HE WAS PUT IN A PRIVATE ROOM UPSTAIRS WHERE HE HAS TO WALK UP TWO FLIGHTS OF STAIRS AND CARRY HIS WALKER WITH HIM.THERE IS SOMEONE DOWNSTAIRS WHO IS ON OXYGEN WHERE THEY COULD PUT HIM. I BELIEVE THEY PUT HIM IN THE PRIVATE ROOM SO THEY COULD COLLECT MORE MONEY. WHEN HE LEFT THE HOSPOTAL HE WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE 1200.00 A MONTH AND HE IS PAYING 1500.00. HE IS ON DISABILITY AND HAS TO PAY FOR INSURANCE AND PERSONAL NEEDS, AND MEDICINE. HE DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH LEFT TO DO THIS. IF YOU HAVE SOMEONE THAT NEEDS CARE I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THIS PLACE. IT IS VERY DEPRESSING AND SOMEONE WHO IS ALREADY DEPRESSED IS NOT GOING TO GET ANY BETTER. THIS IS EWING MANOR WEST IN ROGERSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA"

"I toured pretty much the whole facility of Personal Care at Evergreen. We went down and started downstairs, then we went upstairs, and they showed us the whole place. They seemed like very caring people. Everyone seemed to be happy and they were out watching TV in the common area. It looked like it was extremely clean and very nice. They showed us the activity room and the common areas. They showed us where they prepare the food and I guess they do crafts and things like that in the activities area too. I didn't check their menu, but they explained that they serve hot meals, and they were getting ready to serve lunch when we left, but we did not stay for that. The staff who assisted me was very, very good, and very knowledgeable. She couldn't give me information about availability and pricing, but certainly told me about the staff and how they manage people. She also told me that if you need extra care to shower and bathe, they have that option, and that they would take care of that. She was the nurse on staff there. I don't know if it was perfect, but it's definitely very high up there. It was definitely more like a community and not a hospital type of environment. It was definitely homey too."
