My mom has been in East Deer Personal Care Home for a year and a half now. It is not a big, fancy place, but it is very clean and well run. It is a little unassuming from the outside, but the inside is immaculate. There are private and semi-private rooms available. Their food is excellent, too. The ratio of patients to nurses is good. The nursing staff is very attentive. They provide activities and have celebrations and big dinners for the residents on holidays. People come in every one and awhile, but it is not every day.
