The treatment both provided and NOT provided was a disgrace. The staff is disrespectful and unkempt. It appeared that very few staff members actually had the time or interest in performing their jobs. My loved was was left in bed for days when the point of the stay was for rehabilitation. He developed a pulmonary embolism which is highly likely from the week on his back in bed. My family member begged to be removed from the facility. This is not an easy feat after one is admitted. We finally were successful in getting him admitted to a new facility and approval to do so from insurance. This was a nightmare! The new facility has performed above expectations.

This facility is now called Cedar Crest Post Acute & is now owned by Marquis Health Consulting Services. They took ownership in January, 2023. I’ve lived here since 2017. The nursing care is excellent. Meds are usually given on time & the aids work hard to care for the residents. The food is much better but the kitchen is managed poorly as some employees have little dietary experience. The senior management care more about their 5 star rating than caring for the residents. Their general attitude is very snobbish. Communication is very poor. I’ve often suggested ways to make like better here for residents but no one in senior management listens. There are no security cameras here & theft is common. Problems with unruly residents are ignored. Good employees have been abruptly fired & replaced with people who have a cold shoulder. I do NOT recommend this facility to anyone. Life here is terrible. This will never be a 5 star facility. Epic fail all around.

My father-in-law was here for rehab. The staff was pretty good. The only problem was they didn't change him as much as his daughter would want him to. There were two beds in the room for him and another patient, and it only had a bed, a TV, and a closet to put his clothes in. He was taken care of pretty good. They had activities, but he didn't get involved. They didn't have enough parking for the people that visit.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Sometimes it is hard to see your loved one in a 'nursing home' but the nursing staff here is very knowledgeable and get the job done! If we ever had issues regarding our loved one, we were not afraid to voice it and in no time the issue(s) were resolved.

I am here right now. The staff is pretty good. They are very caring and patient. The room is clean, but there are two other people in it, and it has air conditioning and central heating. The food is good.
