There are lots of things to do,activities you can do . To field trips you can go on. The Food is good and I never have to cook unless i want too. I can get help if I need it the hospital and urge care is right close if i need it. The best part everyone is so nice and helpful here so far i have gotten treated better than even my own family. The thing I liked best about Evergreen Court was it felt more like you were living in an apartment complex and not so much a facility. It's absolutely warm and welcoming. It has an elevator and each level of the floor has its little community area. The gal who gave us the tour said that when new residents come in, the people on that floor will hold a big welcome party for them. All the residents that we met were just so excited. It was a wonderful place to live. It has beautiful bay views of the Coos Bay. The staff was wonderful. They invited us for lunch. We did not stay so I can't tell what the food was like, but it smelled phenomenal. When we were coming off the elevator, there were two cute little old ladies with their walkers and they were both, "You got to come down, it's Taco Salad Tuesday." They make it fun. It's just a lovely place. It was very reasonably priced. It was probably lower priced than either of the other two that we toured, but it's an older facility and that could have a lot to do with the price. It's neat inside and out. We only looked at one room and it was a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment. It's very roomy and had lots of storage, and it had full kitchens. Everything is handicapped accessible.

I'm a resident here at Evergreen Court and I don't like it. I don't recommend them at all. I don't like their food, and the people are unfriendly. The rooms are nice and I like some of the staff. There are a couple of them that are good, but most of them are not skilled. They're pretentious. They sell something they don't have and I think they set the bar too high. They were selling me a product that didn't exist. They didn't want to know or learn or do anything better. It's like a culture of mediocrity here.

I am a current resident of Evergreen Court and couldn't be happier. I have a spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. All of the apartments here contain full kitchens, but, since the facility provides wonderful, delicious meals, I rarely use mine. This is a friendly home - with the staff as well as the other residents. A day does not go by without the opportunity to enjoy recreational activities.

This has been the BEST place ever to have my relative living here. The rooms are HUGE, nice and clean. A very nice comfortable home feeling. The staff are very caring and definately look over the residence to provide a safe, clean positive atmosphere. Everyone there are wonderful people & nothing but positive & helping attitudes. As for activities, there's something happening everyday from Sunday movies, bingo, town shopping outings, art activities and many more. The food is wonderful. I've eaten there several times and the food is absolutely delicious. Nicely displayed and open all day which is a big plus. I've been very please with the additional home health care staff. In the time of need they have been there to help when I wasnt able to. This is a huge bonus, there is a small cost but its a nice feeling to know the help is available when needed. The bottom line, I feel very fortunate to have my relative living here in a very safe, clean community which offers her affordable independence retirement living which she enjoys. I highly recommend Evergreen Court to anyone who's looking for a retirement facility for their loved one.
