The people at the nursing home treat their patients like their family. They not only take care of their physical needs, they converse with them like they are family.

I knew a person in the nursing home. From witnessing how the elderly are neglected in this facility, it is not a recommendation that I would make to anyone thinking of sending their loved ones here. When the elderly need assistance, the nursing home provides a clicker type thing (similar to that of a hospital setting) that can be used to let staff know that the resident is in need of something. However, this is only useful if the staff responds to the beeps for assistance. When I was visiting I witnessed my loved one needing assistance and having pressed the clicker, but staff doesn't respond (at least quickly). Residents can expect to wait a very long time before receiving assistance. When the staff didn't know that I was visiting, they would just let the clicker continually ring but if they knew I was there (when I would finally have to go out and tell them to assist my loved one) they would come sooner. From my experience, my loved one would not be taken to the bathroom as was needed after they clicked for assistance. This in turn caused my elderly loved one to have accidents, again, as a direct result. My loved one was overdosed on medication and the result was actions of being drugged. Due to severe neglect, my loved one's bowels backed up and this resulted in death. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. I deeply regret having my loved one in such a facility.
