Hillspring Skilled Nursing Facility

My dad is a current resident and has been since April 2023. My aunt was also a resident of Hillspring for 14 years before she passed. The staff have all been friendly and kind to my dad. He does have a shared room, which he is not a fan of, but we appreciate the staff accommodating with a roommate with similar interests and situation. They do allow you to bring their furniture and we have taken his recliner, TV and a mini fridge for his comfort. The rooms are always clean, trash is taken out, floors mopped, etc. The staff is great at encouraging him to participate in group activities and they walk him to the dining room and back for each meal. (He tends to get lost even on very short walks.) I would definitely recommend Hillspring!

Our mother was in this facility for several years. Most facilities like this are known for frequent staff changes - however, the active director Summer and her staff has been the constant figure who keeps their patients entertained and active. She provides daily interaction with and among their patients. Armchair Exercises, singing , bingo, card games, and other activities; plus they celebrate birthdays . The Valentine Fundraiser gives their patients a special gift for Valentine’s Day. Our family was grateful for the focus in engaging of activities with our mother and the other patients. Summer has been real blessing for our family.

Hillspring Skilled Nursing Facility was very clean. My dad stayed in a shared room when he was there. It's a big room with a curtain in between. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and I thought they did a really good job. The staff members were all great. They have all the amenities. They provide the meals and they play games and all sorts of stuff. There are a lot of things to do.

No hot water in my Mom's bathroom. It took 16 hours to get her toilet unclogged. She sat in a wet under garment for hours. This place is very understaffed and the staff they do have is lazy and NO one there knows anything. They give you the run around to EVERY question you ask.

My mother moved into Hillspring of Springboro. We only have window visits because of COVID, but we're very satisfied with them. The staff is very good. They've been very responsive, and we like them a lot. She has been there about a month now, and a couple of weeks of it she just had to spend making sure she didn't have COVID. I don't think she's gotten into the swing of the activities yet, but they have a person dedicated to that.

My mother is a resident, and I visit frequently. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The facility is clean. The residents all appear to be well cared for. My mom likes the food, and I think it looks good. They have many choices of food for each meal. There are several areas where family can visit. They have an outside courtyard with many benches. We enjoy visiting outside when the weather is nice. My mom recently went on an outing to a church where kids performed and they sang songs. She really enjoyed that.
