It seemed nice enough. It seemed like it would work well for my father. It seemed like it would be a good facility for him. It's close by, so we would be able to check on him frequently without any problems. He knows the area because he's from New Carlisle originally. We were fairly impressed. It was clean and the facility seemed like it offered everything that you would need. The people there were friendly and helpful, which is important. The residents seemed happy. What we didn't like was the temperature was very, very chilly and he's elderly, so cold is a big issue. We weren't comfortable with that because the temperature was something he would not be able to tolerate. The staff said that it was colder than it usually was normally, and she said it's typically not that bad. Other than that, everybody seemed to be caring. The dining room was large and nice. It is a combination of assisted living and long-term care. I didn't look at the long-term care side of it, but they offer that and also rehabilitation. The staff during the tour was very helpful and answered all our questions succinctly. They're renovating, so they're adding to it.
