Me and my group came in to sing carols to the residents. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Serena Activity Director meet us with a smile and guided use through the halls stopping and singing to residents. Her attitude was anazing, , she was friendly and made us feel welcome.

We have chosen Westmoreland Place because of its location. I like their friendly staff, too. They have basic common areas. They're attentive. The residents are free to roam around. My parents' apartment is fine. It's adequate. They've got everything they need. The facility is very clean. The atmosphere is good. We are really happy with them.

Rooms and facilities are dirty. Overall impression was dark and depressing. Had one nurse show care for the wellbeing of my mother, the others just did the job. The impression I got was the facility is just a waiting room for the eminent. It was recommended by the hospital and we were informed that it was the only place with availability. After checking in there, we researched and found there were plenty of other memory care facilities in the area with vacancies. Don't get caught up in the 'numbers' game with a 'case worker' from the hospital.

I first went to Westmoreland Place around year ago. My friend had gotten kidney cancer and was no longer able to take care of himself. At the Hospital they suggested Westmoreland Place. He seemed like he was taken care of reasonable well there. I nurses seemed nice and he would always try and make them laugh and they would laugh with him. The Nurses where also friendly to any visitors he had. While they seemed friendly they also seemed a little disconnected. They took take of all his needs and where there whenever he needed them. Westmoreland Place was a little run down when I was there and needed some basic repairs just to make the place look a little better. Paint, new ceiling tiles etc. Since then they have remodeled it and judging from what i have seen when I have drove by, my friend is no longer there, it looks a lot more professional and nicer.
