"My husband was in transitional care then moved to long term care .(hospice) The staff has been amazing . They are kind and caring. I get texts or phone calls when the hospice nurses or therapists visit him to keep me informed. There are meetings I believe quarterly with staff to touch base and listen to any concerns. My husband has no complaints . He is happy with the staff That makes me happy. Theu have activities for the patients to participate in. Music guests to listen to and entertain. We have no complaints. "My family was looking for a new place for my grandmother to stay while she had several things going on medically. After visiting Lakeside we decided it would be a good fit for her. The clinic is connected right to where she was staying so it was very convenient. Grandma immediately loved the town and the staff. This is a nice facility with skilled nurses available. The staff seems friendly for the most part and competent. There is a beautiful lake nearby which is comforting to my family as well. The overall area can be a little drab at times, but if you like the small hometown feel this is a great area for you. The nurses actually get to know your name and are very helpful. When grandma left she said her time spent here was wonderful and that she had met many great people. This is a great facility for those reasons, but it really does seem to be in the middle of nowhere. "

"The care that my mom is getting in Birchwood transitional care is fantastic. The nurses and nurses' aide have all been wonderful. The occupational and physical therapists have been excellent in dealing with my mother. Anytime I call them, they would return my call or they would let me talk to the nurse right away to ask questions about how my mom is doing. The best thing I like about it are the caring people. It's like a big family. They have an activities person just checking in on people and when there are activities, they invite people. It's just a place that I wouldn't mind staying myself someday. Aesthetically, it's not the nicest place but you are able to look beyond that because of the excellent care. "

"My parents are residents of Milaca Elim Meadows Senior Living Community. It's a beautiful place with wonderful, happy staff. They are friendly, present, and helpful. They do so much stuff. They do bible studies and crafts. They have like this volleyball of some sort that they can do from chairs and stuff. They adapt well to everybody's level of ability. They also have a coffee hour and snack hour. They do like crafting. They make blankets for new residents. So they do stuff like for new people coming in. They always celebrate everyone's birthday and anniversaries, and they keep them busy. They also have volunteers who will have a bicycle that pushes a buggy. The volunteers will push them to go get ice cream for instance. They have an in-house P.A. that can see them for medical things. They also have a hair salon. They have a pastor there, and they have a lot of different musical events that they can go watch like singing and different musical stuff, which my parents usually love. The food, I thought was good. We ate there as a guest. You can order a meal like for Thanksgiving for instance, rather than taking my parents out of there because they are not mobile, we just called ahead and ordered a meal, and then we just ate with them in their apartment."

"I preferred that my mom stayed at Guardian Angels because it was closer to the family. It was also complete from independent to transitional phase. There were amenities like a beautician and health club. It was very complete. The food was excellent. It could be delivered to my mom's apartment or she ate at the cafeteria. The residents became friends through the activities like bible study, cards and games. Sometimes some one visited the facility to do the activities with the residents. She had a two-bedroom apartment. It was spacious and well-maintained. The property was just beautiful and clean. "

"We moved my mother into The Homestead at Anoka. The original nurse on the memory care was fantastic. The lady who took over was nice, but she doesn't have the same personality as the original nurse did. It's working out fine and she's adapting. It's very clean and organized and the nurses are very patient. They handle these people with memory loss really well. They also do crafts."

"My mom was in Camilia Rose Care Center. I was very happy with them. I can't get over how helpful and kind they were; these were my two biggest things. The facility was clean and decorated nicely. You had to wear masks, get your temperature taken, and fill out a survey if you had any symptoms."

"Great people who really care. There will always be something wrong with a facility because of the amount of quality control needed. However, this group really cares and does what they can to make the lives of their residents better. "

"The staff is really amazing, and the facilities are clean. I was visiting some of my family and the living conditions there were great! It makes me feel better for when I am older because I know there are good places out there. When I got lost the staff was very helpful and they helped me find the rooms too.I was very pleased with this experience and I believe my family there is also very happy there, I will hopefully go there. The only thing I didn't like was that the living spaces were a bit smaller than average and that you have no set time for activities. Yet in overall this is a great place for living and I am really happy for my family. I liked the nurses there who were really helpful and I will visit again at anytime because of the nice invite I got from the staff. "
