Morningside of Wilmington was a very beautiful place. They have a courtyard, which I think was a big asset and wonderful people. They were very knowledgeable and very kind. The atmosphere was awesome. They gave us a list of the activities and it includes bingo games and some services. One thing that dad liked about that place was that the lights were very bright. He would also be allowed to have his electric scooter.

We like the location of Morningside of Wilmington. We also liked Christine, the lady who showed us around, and she seemed to know the other residents very well, she seemed to be upbeat and happy. I like the way their menu was done, and the way the place was laid out. There's a courtyard in the middle where you could go out and get some fresh air. It was very, very clean, it was updated and the decor and stuff were updated. Everybody we talked to was happy and nice, and they seemed to love what they were doing, and they seemed to enjoy their job. It's close to the hospital, in case something goes wrong.

We thought this place would help our loved one, when we took them there they were walk, talking and came on there own. They allowed more than 13 unreported falls to Occur until the social worker at the hospital finally got involved. That was right around the same time the Covid it when we explained that we could no longer pay because our own money had been affected by Covid they then tried to kick this person out and put them in a mental hospital they are now currently in their facility with 18 cases of Covid on that one locked ward and this person is now in the hospital dying when we made it very clear multiple times that something was wrong. We were also lied to and told that there was a doctor there all the time when in fact this resident never actually saw the main doctor we were told that the PA was the doctor and every time we try to get test ordered or medication adjusted we just kept getting blown off and duck I management. When I explained that legally we were unable to pay because of Covid they’re still continue to keep trying to charge us up until their facility and their workers actually infected 18 residents on the locked ward because no family members have been able to be there for three and a half months We explained that we would not pay because we had a place to take this resident to a different safe environment but because they were now infected with Covid not due to our mistake we could not take the resident out but are continuing to try to charge us money for this I hope someone sees this and steers clear of this place because it is not what it claims to be and I hope someone sees this and contact me back because This person should not have to pay because they can’t leave. Also they’re understaffed they are unable to do 15 minute checks due to simple mathematics if there’s only two or three workers for 23 people there’s no possible way it can be done the rooms were dirty and overcharged also they claim that Medacation is included but they charge for just in ministering medication and then I still have to pay for medication separately as well as diapers and other things this is the worst place I’ve ever experienced

Morningside of Wilmington is a great place. Everybody is friendly. The living atmosphere is nice, quiet, comfortable, and friendly. The staff members are really friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. The accommodations are very good, very nice, and up-to-date. They have very nice menu. The dining area is very adequate and very comfortable. Everything is perfect. The place is excellent. They just finished remodeling it.

Morningside of Wilmington was really good. They're very helpful and open. The buildings were extremely nice, clean, and updated. They had a music room, classrooms, and a lot of outside space. The staff was very nice and cordial. They had a calendar of events, like baking classes.

Mother has been resident for 1+ years in their memory care unit. It takes special staff to work with these residents. I've found staff caring and they come up with all sorts of ideas to engage the residents. More troubling is Five Star (a public company and owner of Morningside) stock is not doing well, despite $1 billion in revenue, their market cap is $35m and they continually have lost money. Does this impact care? At some point, probably yes.

My visit with Morningside of Wilmington was very good. The staff gave me a lot of information and I had no questions unanswered when I left. The rooms were nice, airy, and clean. The whole facility was very nice. They told me about the organized activities occurring several times a day and resident interaction was very good. They offer five meals a day. Services range from very simple to nursing assistance with basic care, showering, and dressing if needed. The residents appeared very much at ease. The fact that you could take your own furniture in appealed to me.

My mother in law is in the memory care unit. She gets wonderful care. She us always very clean and do us her room. The food is delicious. Montesorri activities are provided daily for stimulation. We love the staff, Tom, especially! He is the program director. I started a pen pal project for the elderly to stay connected with elementary school children. Everyone seems to enjoy writing to each other. The musical entertainment is wonderful. I liked Morningside so much that I recommended it to my mother's best friend. She lives in the assisted living area of the facility and absolutely loves it! She has made many lasting friendships at Morningside and I have, too!

My grandmother has moved into Morningside of Wilmington. So far, we like it. My grandmother seems to be comfortable there. She has been there for less than two weeks now. Whenever we see the staff, they're friendly. I briefly went into my grandmother's room, and it appeared clean. The layout is nice. It is set up for different areas for residents to go to. It is a memory care center so they are locked in a confined space on the second floor. They seem to have quite a few activities going on. They have a community center with a piano and another room with games and musical instruments. The dining area is small and nice.

It is going to be a week already that my mom has moved into Morningside of Wilmington. Compared to where she was in Florida, it is cleaner and the staff is friendlier. Personally, I think the staff is great; they have been very caring, especially since my mother is going through a very bad transition right now. They have been very supportive and keep in touch with me. They keep calling me and asking about little things which are important. When she first got there on Thursday, they made something special for her because she hadn't eaten and they asked me what she would want, which I thought was nice, so I told them hamburger. So they gave her a hamburger with onions, lettuce, tomato, potato chips, a pickle, and a soda. They were having a birthday party for somebody and had made a cake and gave her a piece of cake too, so I thought that was very nice.

Morningside of Wilmington seemed very nice. One side of it I liked better than the side which was more of a nursing care area. It seemed very clean.

Morningside was very nice; there was a nice garden and walking space in the middle, and she liked that. She didn’t like the second floor. The rooms were very nice and well-kept.

Pacifica was a very nice, large facility with a lot of different activities on the grounds for the residents, and I thought that was really nice. They took the folks out and had a full meal plan. It looked to me like they're doing an excellent job with the meals. The meals were good. The common areas were beautiful. There was coffee brewing all the time, and you could just sit, enjoy, and read or whatever you want to do. The staff seemed to be perfect to me.

Mom’s in Morningside of Wilmington. It used to be Pacifica. They are fairly accommodating. The nurses and the assistants appear to be great. Mom has actually gotten physically healthier since she’s been there, even though she’s not happy about it. My mom’s apartment has a little garden, a refrigerator, freezer, little counter, sink, and a few cabinets. It has a French door that leads out into an interior courtyard and garden and a roomy bathroom. They freshly painted the apartment and put in a new carpet. Mom’s really into the church services and the Bible study. I know they have musical concerts, a variety of crafts, bingo, weekly excursions to lunch or to the museum, and once a month, they go to Walmart. I think they have gardening program getting started this month. My mom likes the breakfast. I have had some difficulty with the medications in their pharmacy services. I refused their pharmacy services, but I received a bill from their pharmacy despite taking all of Mom’s medications to them myself. I have to get that straightened out.

We visited this facility as a possible assisted living home for Mother. The first thing we saw was the health department rating of 90.5! Very bad, and eliminated this facility from our consideration.

We chose this facility because of its level of care. This one have a higher level of care as opposed to other facilities. The staff were extremely well. We weren't rushed as with regards to providing us with information. It's a very clean facility and no smell whatsoever. So far we're satisfied with what we have seen. It seemed that the residents there are fine and are taken care of. The facility is well-lighted. It's great. Our uncle's room is spacious and bright. We have sampled their food and it tastes good. Everything is well in this place. We're comfortable and happy that uncle is there.
