We chose Lumberton Assisted Living because we looked at the options that were available as far as the services that my mother required. Of the three communities that we considered, Lumberton Assisted Living was the one that best suited my mother. For one thing, they had just re-opened after being flooded out by a hurricane, so a lot of the facilities have been replaced, like the flooring and furniture. Everything is fresh and new. They had a dining hall, a beauty shop, a drug dispensing area, a laundry area, an activity area, and a sitting area. My mom has complimented the food and its quality. She has been pleased with it. I think they had an attentive and caring staff, too.

It would be a great facility. It's very convenient. The staff was friendly, informative, very courteous, and professional. I have no complaints with the grounds and layout. They were fine. They have card games, church visits, and things like that. It's their way to engage with the residents every day. They have crafts and pretty much what you expect in a facility. They have transportation. The rooms have a home environment for a couple. They're clean. It's an awesome place. When my husband and I reach that age, I think it would be a great place for us too.
