My brother moved to The Addison of Fayetteville. What I like best is they've recently renovated it, so all the rooms look freshly painted. Everything looks really new. I mean, I know it's not a brand-new building, but it looks very good. They're responsive to his needs. That's another thing I like about it. I don't know if I have any real complaints. I ask him all the time, "How's the food? Do they feed you on time? What do they do if you oversleep?" All those questions he had good answers, and he just said it's a place that gives good care. He gets his medications on time. It's not the most expensive, it's in the middle of the road, it's moderately priced. It's not super big. I think they have the capacity for maybe 70 residents. So I don't have a complaint, I really don't. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional. I asked him if he had any complaints whenever I interacted with the staff. They're very honest and thorough. I have no complaints about the staff. My brother said the food was good. It's not like a restaurant where you can sit down and order anything you want, so you have to kind of go with it. My brother has the smallest room. They have bigger rooms. The layout seems typical of the era because I think the building is at least maybe 20 years old. It was not the nicest one we saw out of all the places we saw, but it was very functional and very safe. Even the smallest room is a good-sized room, it has two closets, and a full bathroom. Even the smallest room is comfortable.

The Addison of Fayetteville was decent. However, it was a lot smaller. My friend is a very social person, and they only had 42 residents, and it was predominantly memory care. At the time that we were looking, it was very important to us to have my friend have that opportunity for assisted living. The memory care part was fantastic, but the assisted living left something to be desired only because they only had maybe 16 assisted living residents. The staff was excellent though. They were wonderful. They had a nice quaint dining area. The menu was very similar to the other two places where they had three choices a day and an ala carte menu of something available all the time. They had a salon where somebody would come in a few times a week and be available for haircuts and things of that nature.

My mother has moved into The Addison of Fayetteville. She's in memory care. The place is clean. They've been really good about alerting us to anything wrong with her. The interaction with the staff is fine. She has a roommate. She has gotten a haircut since she's been there, and that's a good thing. They have a religious person come in. They have an area where they can go outside when the weather is nice. They open the door and let them wander outside. It's fenced-in, but they can roam when the weather is good.

My husband moved into The Addison of Fayetteville. It's good and has a homey atmosphere. The staff members have been caring and concerned. They have bingo. My husband's room is adequate and fits his needs right now. He's had some grumbling about when he asks them to do something, and they can be a little slow about doing it.

My father moved into The Addison of Fayetteville. They were the ones that called me right away. I really like the marketing director, she's been very personable, she called me right away, and any time I have some questions or concerns, she gotten back to me right away. I thought the price was right, and I looked up the state regulations and records, and I was happy with that. We looked at other places, but they were way more expensive, and I didn't think it was worth the price.

My friend has moved into Carillon Assisted Living. However, I'm worried because they charge $4,000 a month for a room which she shares with somebody she can't bond with. I like Carillon Assisted Living. I think it is a lovely, little place and my friend got some nice people that she bonds with; however, she can't afford a private room. From what I have seen, they are predominantly people that are older than my friend. There is one person who seems to be confined to a wheelchair and needs a bit more care. However, I find Carillon to have wonderful staff. They are so caring, so friendly, and nice. The community itself is very well appointed. They have a small knitting room with a fireplace. The ambience is absolutely wonderful. They do shopping, but I don't know too much about their activities. On Thanksgiving, they had a couple come in that entertained everybody; it was very nice. The food that I have seen was very good. They cater to people who have diabetes. In other words, they are cognizant of their clientele's eating requirement. The price is very high, though.

My visit at Carillon was excellent. Everything was great there. They had gardening, activities, and boards on the walls for the residents to focus on, like undoing locks and latches. They had a laundry basket on the table so they could fold laundry if they wanted to. They also had a beauty salon. All of the employees were very friendly, willing to help, and gave us a good impression. The rooms are adequately sized, shared by two people, and very cheerful looking and clean.

Carillon Assisted Living was very nice and clean, and everybody was really nice. I saw 2 different-sized rooms, and they were OK-sized. One was like a suite for a couple which had a couple of rooms to it, and one was a smaller room. They were having an open house where they had a chili mate for the people who were stopping by, and it was good. It was a nice place, and the residents seemed happy. The staff was really nice.

The staff seemed friendly and engaged. Carillon was a one-story facility, which I thought was nice, but it was kind of on the outskirts of Fayetteville.

My mother has been at Carillon Assisted Living for three months now. This facility is pretty. It is not overly affordable, but it is pretty. They have someone come in to clean their rooms and make their beds. They feed you. They give you your medicine. They have activities. They have a family night once a month. Residents can invite three people to come in and eat on that particular night. They have crafts and things like that in a room out there. They take some of their residents out to Wal-Mart or for a meal out. Her room is a good size because it is a private room. My mother is never going to be happy about living in this place, but she is content. There is nothing like being in your own home. Their variety of food is not the greatest, and that might be one thing I would say.

Carillon Assisted Living was very nice. The place was clean. The people were pleasant. Everybody was nice and eager to help in giving information. The room was very nice. The dining area was clean, had a nice atmosphere, and nice tablecloths. They served breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. They had activities like bingo and devotion.

I went to the open house of Carillon and it really impressed me. It was focused on my needs as an Alzheimer's caretaker. I was very pleased with their preparation for hosting the lecture; they have hand-outs and informative speeches. It was customizing care to the patients but it was out of our price range though. The dining room was gorgeous and it was like an upscale restaurant. There were carpeting, beautiful light chandeliers and lots of windows that look out on a lightly wooded area that was peaceful and attractive.

This was a very beautiful and well-kept facility. I was told by the staff that it was designed to appear as "homey" as possible, with covered porches and lovely landscaping. The rooms were well appointed and there were spaces for gathering for meals as well as activities. The staff seemed genuinely involved and concerned with each of the residents. There is a dementia unit at each of these facilities and according to the representative, Carillon has had great success working with residents who suffer from various types of dementia. Although, they do not offer nursing services like a nursing home would, a nursing home was nearby. This is convenient because often residents of the assisted living facility are recent transfers from a nursing home or will one day be transferred to the nursing home. I was left with a very favorable opinion of Carillon, it's staff and services.
