No communication between their staff members. One shift has no idea what the other one did. monitoring their patients like they should... NOT HAPPENING. They did a quick evacuation for the hurracane on september... (pretty good I guess) but after they send all the patients to different facilities... some as far as more than 2 hour drive away... they failed to contact the family to give them updates on when will they reopen leaving many scrambling finding another placer closer to home for their family member. Going to the building to get info its like a joke... no one there or no concrete answer. They spend a lot of money fixing the lobby area before the storm but no building fixing will fix the staff issue. They are obviously under staff, over worked and underpaid (it seems).

I will say there are some wonderful people there and yes some bad as well but, one person does stand out there as a shining star!!!Mary, activity director. You can see in her actions she loves the residents and puts her whole heart into all she does.I would not want to live there but, if I had to stay in a nursing home I would want to be in a place where Ms. Mary works.Cumberland Nursing [the real name]great job in having the very BEST activity director in the county
