This facility is horrific!! I'm taken aback that the state of NY would allow this to be marketed as a facility to send your loved ones to for care. This was recommended by a social worker for my elderly father needing constant care. I decided to check out & visit unannounced. The road leading up to the facility is dirty with potholes and the facility itself is reminiscent of an old motel that is clearly not kept up. the curtains were dirty and the outside was lined with elderly and mentally challenged patients all unsupervised. it was chaotic and I was completely surprised. Walking in to the corridor there was yelling, screaming and more chaos combined with cigarette smoke. The lobby itself was disgusting and the workers looked stressed and disengaged in the well being of those they care for. It was very reminiscent of a jail; VERY hard to believe this is marketed as a care facility. PROCEED WITH CAUTION & VISIT BEFORE CONSIDERING. There are not too many reviews on this facility and 2 of the 3 I found were accurate. This is a shame to see.
