I toured Hudson Valley Senior Residence. It was very lovely, it was very nice, a good location, it looked comfortable, very well kept, and good staff that I could see. The food was very good. They had a hair salon, they had a lot of music activities, they actually had live music come in, people playing instruments, the piano, and they had a beautiful library.

I am a volunteer at Hudson Valley Senior Residence. They have become an affiliate of TLCN. Because of that they have a new Administrator. This is one of the few Licensed Assisted Living facilities in the Hudson Valley. They have private showers in every room. They have an activities director during the day and a group of 24 ladies that also do fun activities with the residents during the day and into the evening. The care is excellent. Come & have a look. We've been here in Hudson Valley for about 6 months now. They do our laundry. I think they require that you are able to dress yourself. We have three meals a day plus snacks at night. The rooms have bathrooms, we have wash basins, and we all have special showers in our bathroom. They have activities, like athletics in the morning. There's a place to park if you have a car. Every Thursday we have a party. Every other week we go out to eat. However, I want more activity, because I've always been a very active person.

I write to you from the sanction of my spirited corner of which have the joy and inner piece to call home. I am bathed in a quiet warmth accompanied by the ups and downs of chatter. Some days I enjoy watching the villain in a movie, maybe its the click of dominoes, bingo plans , eating dinner out or joining others in birthday happenings. We take great pride in two parlors a central hall and recreation room always fitted and ready for those who come to our door to practice or to perform for our pleasure and to make our birthdays very special - always ice cream , snacks and sweets galore. We are Heavily filled with books movies puzzles and the happenings from any corner or alcove . Where we gather in harmony to get to know the what and where of our busy days. You are never alone- our staff is very much aware of your presence and will be adept encouraging you to participate or to organize any activity as fits your pleasure. We have a very charming and welcoming dining area. we are served three meals daily and our coffee corner is always open. Actually it is time for me to put my pen and paper in the corner of my desk. I hope you shall want to hear from me again. My spirited corner is kept spotless and homelike.

The Hudson Valley Senior Residence is an assisted living facility in Kingston, NY. The building itself is nearly a century old and maintains a beautiful, charming atmosphere for its residents; a home away from home. Most accommodations are roomy and each includes a private bath and shower. The staff provides a personal touch and the activities are fabulous.
