Complete Care at Green Acres

My husband was at Complete Care at Green Acres for several months of skilled nursing care. When he was in a single room, it was fine, and the room was clean. However, when they moved him into a double room to share with another person, it was dank and dreary. They have very tight and small rooms. The residents were confined to a very small space, and most of the time, they were eating in their rooms. The staff members were from agencies, so they really didn't know the people. I didn't see any activities for the people other than to plant them in front of a TV, and that would be about it.

My wife stayed at Complete Care at Green Acres for approximately two months. It's very clean and well kept. You never smell any odors from the nurses cleaning up the patients. The food was excellent. The activities were excellent. They had a large dining room and a large TV screen, and they had an activities coordinator. My wife was in the memory ward because she had dementia. The residents played all sorts of games and had artsy types of activities where they would sew clothing together and they played with puzzles and that type of thing. The staff was excellent and very caring. They went about their job very professionally.

My mother went to this one, and we did like it, but when it came to the area where my father would be in, I was not impressed with Green Acres. They were excellent actually. They were very good and very considerate in taking of my mother. But the area that my father would be in, I just wasn't impressed with it at all. The nursing staff actually were very impressive, even the physical therapy staff. They were very caring, and that was really the key. The staff that deals with the patients was excellent. The area that my mother was in was very clean. The area that my father would have been in was not very clean, and that is the reason he is not here.

hello, recently i put my mother in this awsome senior home. at first i was not really sure about doing this, but after they gave me a tour i wanted to live here. the staff is very nice and and helpful. the place itself seems safe and comfortable. after i recieved the tour i found out there is so much to do there. you can garden play golf, checkers chess, ping pong, read and your family can come to visit you in the day. my mom made so many new friends and they play bingo every friday. it is as when you go there you develope your own scedual of what you are going to do for the day. also the food that they serve is acceptable. it is not like prison food or a childs cafateria food. the food is very nice and almost 2 steps higher than a tv dinner. if you are looking for a senior home in NJ this is the best by far. this senior home will make your elders happy. also they will like to meet new people. when my mom went there she said it is like haveing a second family. if you put your elders here they will love it and will never want to come home. you may think of it as a bad thing but you can always go visit them so there is no sadness of seperation. they also have full fone privligaes. happy elders
