I visited this facility

JENNIFER the Manager of dieticians was excellent. The rest of the staff lazy. Patients call out shouting out for services are ignored. Beautiful place terrible care. Never see Doctors.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My sister was in the Woodbury location of Spring Hills for about 3 weeks to recuperate and receive therapy after heart surgery. Although most people were kind, and especially the therapy people, the rest of her stay was not very good at all. Her room was freezing cold. Her food was always cold. She never got the food she asked for. Over and over and over she, and even family calling the place, requested she get hot tea with her meals but she was constantly brought coffee. A little thing like that just made her stay that much worse. I mean really, how hard should it be for people to remember she wanted tea and requested it on the menu she had to fill out repeatedly. I'm sure the issues of covid had something to do with the fact her calls for assistance often went unanswered or someone came to help her to the bathroom or whatever after it was too late. But still, that shouldn't be!

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father is in Spring Hills Post Acute Care Princeton. It's close to where my brother lives, so he can also keep an eye on him. It's easy access to get to. At the time though because of the pandemic, we weren't allowed to go in to the facility of any kind. They were strict on that. What I like least about it is that it is an old building, and it's not all that up-to-date. The response is great from the nurses to the administration. If you need anything or you ask a question, they really get back to you and work with you. He doesn't really like the food. He's used to spicy food, and the food there is more like broil and water down, according to him. They say they have activities; but because of the pandemic and keeping patients apart, they haven't done much. He's also very stubborn, so he never really liked to participate. They have activities though. It's an old building, and they definitely need an update. He's on Medicaid and Medicare. I think the cost is pretty decent.

Horrible place to place your loved one in. My mother broke her ankle and waited over 2 hours for someone to help her go to the bathroom, she finally got up and walked on her broken ankle so she doesn't wet her bed.. I found her in tears when I arrived and took her home

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Never in my life have I experienced anything like what I witnessed during my loved one's stay at this facility. Even after several meetings with the director, head of nursing and others, the care did not improve. Due to the gross negligence of this facility, i finally was forced to remove my loved one and have him receive home care. The place is filthy, fecal matter on floors, meal trays left for days, rooms not cleaned, resident kitchen not cleaned, no paper towels or tissues in facility for 3 days, constant problems with meals, inedible food, broken walkers in rehab (after my complaints, they have now been replaced), waiting well over an hour after ringing call bell, improper care and total neglect for an abdominal indwelling catheter, etc. I could go on for days regarding the horrific conditions of this facility. Since I couldn't make decisions for him, and since he's 92 and stubborn, he refused to leave until he realized how serious the situation was. If you're looking for a dumping ground for your loved one, then this is the place to use. Please do not allow anyone you care about stay at this facility. My ONLY positive comment is about a nurse named Genine. She was professional, capable, caring and compassionate and I am very grateful for her care.

I visited this facility

The Atrium was very nice but too far away from my brother. The people were very decent. The rooms were nice and had a nice setup. The staff was very pleasant and very cooperative. They had a calendar of activities posted on the bulletin board.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Our mother was suffering from malnutrition, dehydration, osteoporosis and dementia upon admission. Within two weeks, she was in great spirits, within one month she was stronger and gaining weight. Within five weeks she is moving into an apartment. We are ecstatic with the level of care and the friendly environment.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I went to Pavilions from the hospital. I stayed there for three months. It just didn't suit me at all. It didn't have simple facilities like wifi, and the people were really down and out. It was just a depressing environment for me. I was in a private room, and the rooms were decent enough. The food was OK. I have a hearing problem, and many of the staff spoke anyaway. I had a very difficult time understanding them, and they had very heavy accents.

I visited this facility

My father currently lives here, and for the most part, I am satisfied with how the facility is run. The aides are not the best, and sometimes are very inattentive to the patients. The nursing staff is much better at attending to the patients, but they are few and far between in a home with over 100 residents. It is exceptional looking, and the entrance and activities rooms are kept very clean. The maintenance staff responds to issues, but does not always do so with the utmost urgency.
