I've had my mom there for three months now and am very happy with their care. The staff is very friendly and truly seems to care about the residents. My mom can be difficult at times but they try their best to make her happy and that has been a huge relief for me.

My father had a nurse named Lisa that gave me a hard time whenever I asked her for Dad’s pain killer as the nurses were not prompt at all in answering his calls for help. She would stare at me and say ‘OKAY’ but not move until I walked away…. Very rude!! She was his nurse for three days when I had gone to her (and the nurses aid was with her in the hallway) and I asked her for his pain pill and she said ‘just a minute’ and I started talking to her about the rod in his leg and that he was in pain and both Lisa (the nurse) and the nurses aid had stricken looks on their faces. Lisa said "what rod" - I said ‘the one they put in his leg when he broke his femur in five places’…. Lisa responded “we didn't know about that”. I asked her if she didn't read the papers that the hospital sent over and Lisa said "I don't have time to read all that stuff they send over." Dad had told me they had been flipping him around, being really mean and rough and he was afraid of her. He didn’t want me to make a scene as when I would leave she would be meaner to him. Do not put anyone in this facility if you care about them!

Table Rock Healthcare Center had a waiting room out front and they pretty much gathered most of the patients there or people that had to have help of some sort. They're either bed-ridden or they were with a walker, pulling along a cart with an intravenous type of thing or needed help in getting from one place to another, and so on. My friend had a stroke and some other problems too and he couldn't take care of himself. He's been there for a while. I was pretty well pleased with the place. It looked pretty good, and I didn't see anything wrong with it. They were good with the patients from what I saw.

My grandparents were both residents. The nursing care was indifferent at best. After my grandmother passed one of the housekeeping staff became my grandfathers new girlfiend. He was a recovering alcoholic and she would bring him liquor and they would drink and "carry on" in his room. His discretionary money fund was given to this woman to buy thing he wanted that is doctor advised against and his family refused to provide for him. Unhealthy foods, alcohol and viagra. Despite family complaints this woman continued to be an employee and to have access to my grandfather. As he was not legally incompetent we could not move him or keep her away as long as she was an employee there. This woman took what money he had and bought herself gifts supposedly at his direction and yet he never even acknowledged his only childs birthday, christmas etc. once she entered the picture. he was a miserable, hateful, dirty old man and I guess she brought out the worst in him. Eventually he did pass away and fortunately he had a prepaid burial plan because she has spent all his money and stolen anything that he had of value. Also, someone was always taking his hearing aids and dentures and they would take weeks to replace them. Really just an awful experience with a substandard facility but while he could no longer care for himself physically he was not legally mentally unable to make decisions for himself he and the nursing home just seemed incapable of exercising good judgement.
