I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mother is in Claiborne at McComb. The place is clean and very friendly. They're very welcoming for someone just newly coming in. They're very compassionate. The staff are very attentive. I've tried their food, and it's excellent. They have regular activities. Some of them are led by entertainers. The apartment has a refrigerator and a microwave. They have courtyards and front and back patios, but no pools.

I visited this facility
I toured Claiborne at McComb. It was a very nice facility, everything was good. It was very clean, it was new, and everything was good that I didn't see any negatives at all. Their rooms were very nice and very clean. The staff who did the tour were super nice, very friendly, very informative and went over everything with us. They were very, very good. We saw the dining room area, we saw the little courtyard area, and then the rooms and the theater room. So we saw pretty much the whole facility.

I visited this facility
Claiborne at McComb is a beautiful community. The apartments are really nice, comfortable, and more like a home than a clinical setting. The courtyard is beautiful. It seems that they are very accommodating for the males, so it is a very nice place. It's not going to work out for us and the level of care we need, but it is very nice. The staff was great. She was very helpful, very knowledgeable, very caring, and willing to answer any questions at any time.

I visited this facility
We were able to go to Claiborne at McComb. It's an absolutely nice place. It was very updated. It had a lot of activities. Everything seemed to be very clean, and it's a nice assisted living place. Refrigerator, stove, and beds were there. It was a nice, little, studio apartment or one-bedroom apartment. The staff was very nice. The receptionist and the nurses were all good. I met the ladies that handled the patients. They were all nice and sweet.

My parents have been there two years. They have taken exceptional care of them. Honestly having The Claiborne in McComb has been a blessing to me. The staff are kind and considerate. They get my parents out on a pretty day and they love it. Kevin

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mother-in-law has been in the facility for almost a month now and we have been very happy with the care that she has received. The staff are very caring and it is obvious that she knows them and likes them. (She is a memory unit resident so this is important - means that she sees them enough to be comfortable with who they are!) I am in healthcare administration so I know the trials of coordinating all of the services provided. My only measuring stick that I will use to judge the facility's performance is that she is happy, clean, and healthy. They are hitting on all cylinders! We would recommend the facility to everyone.

I visited this facility
I really liked The Claiborne at McComb, but it was a few hundred dollars more. It was excellent in every way. That was really my choice, it was worth it for what you get for it. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. They had large walk-in showers that are handicap accessible, they also had a tub room, they had three meals a day plus snacks, the snack bar was open 24/7, so the residents could get food any time. They had a beautiful theater room where they show movies and had theater-sitting chairs, and they had outdoor patios. I think it was worth the money.

I am very pleased that my daddy lives at The Claiborne in McComb. His room is nice and the perfect size for him. It has everything he needs and great thought was put in to making the rooms comfortable for the residents. There are plenty sitting areas for you to visit with your loved one if a group of the family goes at the same time. His care from the staff has been outstanding. You know that they truly care and are there to do their jobs with pride. The Claiborne goes above and beyond to have activities for the residents. The movie theater and puzzle room are two favorites. They keep them busy with things they enjoy and that are good for them to keep them active and enjoying other's company. The building is beautiful inside and out. We are please that they have a hair salon and the physical therapy. My family is grateful for The Claiborne.

When you walk in, The Claiborne at McComb is beautiful, but looks are not what's caring for the patients. It is lacking from qualified people. I have had lunch with my sister on several occasions and I feel like their patients are being rushed to eat their meals. There also weren't enough hands-on activities. I went yesterday and spent three hours with my sister, and there was another patient who was saying, Are we eating dinner? When are we going to eat?" That's telling the people that she's hungry and this was like 9:30 or 10:00, and they don't eat till noon. They need to be offered snacks, but they've never been offered snacks since we've been there. The food is cold and sometimes it's overcooked. I don't care to eat there any longer. My sister's room though is neat, clean, and nice. The money is overrated for the care that my sister is getting. The place itself is nice and clean. They are improving with the activities.

I visited this facility
The Claiborne at McComb was really fancy. They had plenty of activities for the residents and were putting in a butterfly garden when I was there. They had a wine and cheese bar, a movie theater, and so on, but it's kind of expensive for us. The staff seemed really nice, friendly, and helpful. If I had the money, my dad would be going there today. The building was excellent, well-lit, had wide hallways, and was really clean and nice.
