"My wife's cousin is now at The Summit of Germantown. She has been there for a week now. It's excellent. It couldn't be better. I like the beautiful wide hallways. It's easygoing and secure. Excellent staff. My wife's cousin's room is adequate and essentially brand new. It's a bedroom, a kitchen, and a little living room. It's very nice. The dining area is very nice, too. My wife's cousin is happy with the food. The places we visited were very impressive. But it came down to a financial decision, and that's why we chose The Summit of Germantown. They're accommodating."

"It was very nice. The people who worked there were very nice and knew everyone by name. The rooms were all private, a little tiny, but nice. Everything was clean. They have games and they take people on errands uptown. They also have snacks out for residents. The place is very secure and you have to have a code to get in and out."

"Providence Assisted Living of Senatobia is a smaller facility, but the employees are so enthusiastic. They really seem to care about the residents. I talked to several of them. They all said the same thing, that they take really good care of them. My dad has a one-bedroom with a living room, bathroom, and a kitchenette. They have multiple dining areas. They tend to have a big meal at noon and smaller meal at night. They have activities for them. They are taking him up-front to co-mingle with the people there. He's not just stuck in one area, and he could just get up and eat as well. They have to take him through the doors and stuff. They have been renovating rooms, and they'll put vinyl laminate in. They also have foot care come to the facility, somebody to do their hair, games, and events. The other thing which excited my dad, is that they will take them fishing in Arkabutla Lake. My sister can get to the place very easily and very quickly, but we were also very pleased with the staff. They are very caring and very energetic. I judge a lot based on the existing residents that I talked to, and they all seem to be very comfortable."

"I had my sister-in-law at Belmont Village Memphis. I really liked it. She was there about six months ago. They had a very low staff turnover, so the staff has been there and working together for a very long time and that says a lot about a place. I've seen the food, and it looked good, but I have not tried it. My husband has and he says it's good, and my sister-in-law liked it a lot. It's very clean. It's an older building, but it was kept up very well. Value for money was pretty good. They really go the extra mile to do everything. My sister-in-law can't even move from the bed to her chair by herself, so they were really good at making sure that they were covering all the bases. I would say it's a reasonable price."

"My mother lives at Christopher's. Everyone there is SO sweet to her. They take the best care of her. Deanna is the best!"

"My grandmother came here during a tough time in her life. We were all worried after her fall. We saw Great Oaks was a 5 star facility and decided to put our heart there. From the door everyone made my granny and our family feel like MVP’s. The Administrator personally introduced himself and talked about his Granny. The nurses were so thorough. Her first meal was great, the place was clean, decorated for the holidays. I cannot say enough about this place getting my granny back to us. She loved her time there and they have customers for life from the Hampton/Jones family. "

"The placement needs of most of the residents are more demanding. I see the needs of some patients are very hard to meet. I like how the staff strives to give the care they would like their own family to have. "

"My uncle is at Ciel Senior Living of Collierville. We chose this one because it was the closest, it had happy hours which he wanted, and the price was right. It ticked all the boxes. The size of the apartments was the right size. The location of the apartment was a good place for him. More than any other place, it hit all the things that we needed for him. The condition of the place is very nice, very comfortable and clean. When we were moving him in, they gave us sandwiches. With regards to activities, my uncle hasn't been too much of anything except for the happy hour. It's very good value for the money. However, I moved him in on Monday, but they didn't have the activity calendar at that point, which I thought they should have had before the beginning of the month."

"The Farms at Bailey Station was excellent. It was a great facility and a great location. It was a new facility. We looked at some of the rooms available for independent living and they all were quite accommodating. The design was such that you could function there even if you had to need some assistance. We saw the exercise facilities and the dining hall. They served us lunch and the food was better than a lunch that I would get from any typical restaurant around. It was very good. The staff were very accommodating, very friendly, and very knowledgeable."

"Aside from the take it times to get admitted, because it requires and extensive assessment for this type of care, it went very well. Everyone was kind and helpful. The process was explained to me and my loved one. Knowing what to expect helped alleviate anxiety for all of us. Although this was my first experience with this type of care, I can't imagine having a better experience. My loved one is doing well and continues outpatient treatment. Life is finally good in our family again. Thank you!"

"I visited Silvercreek Senior Living Community. The campus was beautiful and the rooms were beautiful and very spacious. The dining area was pretty. The facility seemed pretty well laid out. The marketing director was very nice and knowledgeable."

"I went to this place called Tate's Home, which turned out to be a nightmare, so I got out of there as quickly as I can. Nothing nice to say there. With regards to food, a lot of times all you would get was a sandwich. Two pieces of bread, maybe some mayonnaise and mustard and some lunch meat. It just was what it was. I'm eating better out on my own than I was when I was there. Sometimes they would cook, and it would be good. It just certain things that went on there were just wrong. It was not my cup of tea, and it was not really meant to be. There were too many people in one home. I shared a room with three other men there, and it was a garage converted into a bedroom. It did not have central heat, and it did not have central air. I'm paying less money where I am now and living a lot better. With regards to activities, from time to time they would play word check, bingo or something, but I just did not participate."

"BeeHive Homes of Collierville is a new place. It has 23 beds, and they only have 5 people there. So right off the bat, my sister will be getting good attention. They said they could work with the pricing and stuff, so it looks promising. I like that it is well-staffed. It offers single rooms and companion rooms, and they were a little bit bigger. We talked to the chef and one of the caregivers, and they were very friendly. It is located out in the woods. There are a whole lot of trees and stuff around. It is nice and peaceful since it's on a quiet road. My sister has the tendency to wander, so she needs to be in a secure place. BeeHive Homes of Collierville is a secure place. They have two double doors. If you press on the bar, it will set off an alarm. The dining area was open. The surroundings were excellent. All three sides were trees and woods. It is only one way in, and that is via a highway out there. They were also the lowest cost price of all the other facilities."
