I live here and I hate being treated like a child!!!!

My brother is in Providence Assisted Living. It is nice, but the carpets need to be re-done because there are some stains. The rooms are large. They have windows in them. You can also control the thermostat in each room. The staff is adequate. They do his laundry, they dispense his medicine, and they check his blood pressure and blood sugar. They have an LPN at all times. The food is good; it's an appropriate diet. They have Bingo, physical therapy exercises appropriate, and other activities and games.

I would definitely recommend Grenada Living Center. They have a wide variety of rooms. I believe they even have some rooms with as many as three people to a room, but those rooms are rather large and accommodate three beds well. My interaction with the staff has been completely positive. The nursing staff or anyone that I have had any contact with was positive. I have a friend who is a resident there at this time. Their food looks good although they do not offer plates for guest, but the food prepared for the residents is appealing and my friend is pleased with the food. They have a variety of activities and they also have a physical therapists onsite. It is also a locked down facility and you must have a key code in order to get in and out or someone has to access the entry way and the exit for you.
