Good Samaritan of Waconia has gone downhill. When we first interviewed, everything was supposed independent, and then they said they were going to have her in what we thought was assisted care, but they're not an assisted care quarters. They were understaffed and the food was horrible. It's not clean and they're not keeping up to date with it. They have no protection for a lot of the more needy care patients. They were very rude and we were told to leave. My mother-in-law was upset one night and went outside and realized that she didn’t have her purse and key with her. She got locked out, saw someone walk by, pounded on the window, and they let her in. They told us that Mom was confused and we were asked to move her as soon as possible to a memory care unit. Basically, they told us that she has already lost her mind, and doesn't know what she's doing and telling us. They're not concerned and caring.
