Vista ridge is a lovely facility and I had a great experience visiting there. The staff and residents were very welcoming and friendly. Several different staff members greeted us and checked that we had all our questions answered. The residents greeted us as well and had positive things to share with us about their personal experiences of living in the facility. I also had the opportunity to have a discussion with family members of a current resident. They also had positive things to say about the staff and accommodations of the facility. The building has a great location next to a river in a small town. There is a gorgeous chapel built in the facility with many services offered during the week. There are regular activities that are offered to the residents, including cards, board games, bingo, etc. A unique feature of the facility is that there is a child care center as well. Although there is quite a separate entity between the two, there are activities where the residents and children are able to interact with each other-great experiences for both the kids and residents.
