My mom moved in at Care Age Country Home three months ago. We like this one because it is more homey. It is not institutionalized. It has a bit more relaxed atmosphere. It is a very nice facility. It is a house in the woods with a bunch of rooms. The staff has been wonderful. We really like it there. They serve nice home-cooked meals.

We have chosen Care Age Country Home for my father. He's been there for about two months now, and our experience has been very good. It's in a country setting, and he has an efficiency room, so he doesn't have any microwave or anything like that, but he also doesn't have the ability to cook, so it is suitable for him. The staff is very good, very friendly, and caring. They have three very well-prepared meals per day, two snacks, and some activity groups. It's a multilevel building. They have an elevator, and they have two day rooms with large-screen TVs. They normally have activities, like live music coming in once a week and some group games that they play, but they have had to scale back on that because of COVID restrictions. From what I've heard from my father, the food is very good. I smelled it, it was good, too. For what it is, I think it is a wonderful community.
