The Glenn Buffalo – The Cottages

My husband moved into The Glenn Buffalo - The Cottages. We're very happy with the place. Everything's going fine. We like the employees and the extent of my husband's care. He is well taken care of. The staff members are very pleasant, seem to take their work seriously and give good care. They have good meals, a pleasant environment, and activities.

I visited this assisted living facility in October of 2011. I traveled from the Twin Cities to see my husband's grandparents and was happy to see that they were being very well cared for. The nursing staff seemed to have a lot of patience with both of them, who are suffering from Alzheimer's. I did find it quite inconvenient that when I was in the lobby and needed to use the restroom, I had to get a key from the staff desk, and return it when I was done. However, that's just an example of their fantastic safety measures. I went for a short walk through the building with my Grandfather, and as we passed through a set of doors, an alarm went off, notifying the staff that he had passed the boundary he was allowed within. I could tell that they were in safe hands by these various precautions.
