Wealshire of Bloomington

We liked Wealshire Of Bloomington. It's fairly large. So, I don't know if it was ideal for someone who needs a smaller setting. It's a pretty big setting, but we liked the facility itself. I think their bedrooms were kind of small. That's my only real critique of them. We met the sales director and she was very nice and very receptive. She answered my phone calls and my emails quickly. She was very responsive to any questions that we had. So, I felt like she was quite helpful.

Wealshire of Bloomington is the GOLD STANDARD of long-term memory care facilities! The facility is gorgeous, clean, well laid out, bright and airy with gorgeous activity areas, large and cheerful rooms and so many things for residents to do. There is a secured courtyard where residents can get fresh air and see the flowers and birds. The staff is stellar! Kind, loving, knowledgeable, and so patient and understanding of these residents who are missing their loved ones during this COVID-19 pandemic. They have gone out of their way to keep families connected via Facetime, Skype or Zoom. They have gone above and beyond their normal job responsibilities, and they do it with a smile. We could not have chosen a better facility for my mom, and I am so very thankful every day that we found Wealshire.

My grandmother moved into Wealshire of Bloomington. It's excellent. The staff is as nice as can be, they're caring, they listen, and they treat the patients so they don't have so many outbursts. They have activities every day, they have singing, they have ice cream socials, they have special nights, they have a bar setup, they have a place that looks like an ice cream shop, they have a big area for singing, and they bring people in to lead the singing group. They have a theater with posters, they come in and do movie nights, and they also have church services on Sundays and Mondays. She has never complained about the food.

The Wealshire seemed like a very nice facility. It was extremely clean, but pricey. Its focus is on memory care and dementia. Everything they had was top notch, and they have smaller rooms. The staff was professional.
