My 93 year old mother went there in October of 2020. The right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing there. They put my mother in skilled nursing care which cost $ 588.00 per day and let her lie in her bed crying and being miserable most of the time. They drugged up her with Trazadone. They refused to listen to me as my mother's Health Care Proxy over and over again.

My mother was a resident of the Overlook for 4 years, starting out in Assistive Living, and then moved to Skilled Nursing. The care she got was exceptional. I would have never wanted her any where else. My mother was extremely happy her entire stay. I am so thankful to the staff on the 3rd floor.

We haven’t had any problems with Overlook Masonic Health Center for my mother. It has a very friendly and open atmosphere. Their health care has been good, and they have a full menu of activities. Their food is OK.

My grandfather stayed at the Masonic Home in Charlton when recovering from surgery before he was able to move back to his home where he lived alone. He stated that he was treated very well and enjoyed his stay at the facility. He is very vocal and picky about his food preferences, but said that he really enjoyed the food. I was very surprised to hear this because he doesn't even say that about food that is home made! His only complaint was that he was bored sitting alone during the day and wanted more interaction. The staff was very nice and remembered my family each visit. They kindly held his laundry for us to take home and wash for him. They also placed his bed next to his own private bathroom which was very helpful because he has to use the restroom quite frequently. I would feel comfortable knowing that my family member was being taken care of there.
