"My mother did not want to go to any care facility and fought against the idea for many months before actually moving in. She was difficult and I had my reservations. But once she moved in and experienced the fabulous gourmet food and accommodations not to mention "care", she settled in and considered it to be her home. The views out the back are awe inspiring and calming. The humming birds are busy with all that humming birds do as the clouds go rolling by. Such a peaceful setting that my mother would sit for hours in the afternoons and enjoy the view. I noticed that she was becoming a nicer and relaxed person to be with what with the activities like craft fairs, and shopping. We were extremely lucky to find England Oaks. I never worried about my moms well being. She was treated as family and simply adored the people who cared for her especially the owner. And my mother was not one to make friends easily. I cannot recommend this care facility enough. Thanks to the exceptional care, patience and most importantly love, my mom is living a long and fulfilling life at England Oaks. "

"My father has been placed in Oak Haven Community Care Center. So far, it's been wonderful. They're kind and caring and he's doing well. They were efficient in getting all of the paperwork required completed. He was placed within four or five days of my calling, so they were very efficient in getting him enrolled. The food was wonderful. Yesterday, they brought his plate, and they had macaroni and cheese. It had to have been made from scratch and chicken tenders that they fried, not just frozen ones warmed up, and I think apple cobbler for dessert. It looked delicious and he loved it. They're very active. They have something to participate in every day. They've just redecorated and it's beautiful. He can't participate in many of the activities because he has dementia, but if you were able to participate, you would be able to have something to do every day. It's all great so far and he's doing well. They all speak to me when I'm there. They know who I am and they give me updates."

"Without a doubt, the best place in the world I could have placed my mother to live. The facility is beautiful, the staff goes above and beyond in caring for my mother. The activities include outings, periodic family gatherings with children, grand children & relatives. During the month of September, "Assisted Living Week" is the highlight of their year with activities every day of the week. They treat my mother with loving care and respect. The meals are to die for, just like the home cooking my mother made for us. I only hope to be so fortunate one day to have the same in my "golden years". "
