"The visit at Camelot was very good; they gave me a nice and very pleasant tour. It was very clean, and the people were very helpful. The dining room seemed a bit crowded; the apartments were fine. There seemed to be a fair amount of activities. One negative: it didn’t have any patios or garden areas. "

"Rosewood was probably one of the oldest assisted living centers we saw, but it was newly renovated, and it was very nice. The man who took me around was just as sweet as he could be and answered all my questions, and he was ready for my parents to move in at that time. The guy who took me around and the receptionist were very friendly, were interested in me, and did not just push me off. At that point, when I looked at that place, the residents were locked down because of COVID, so I couldn't tell anything about what was going on there. What I saw was clean, and some of the rooms were being repainted. The place had been redone, and it looked very nice."

"Garden View is a beautiful place to call home for the elderly. It provides a peaceful atmosphere, fine dining, friendly staff, useful outings, fun activities, opportunities to make new friends, moderate independence, and nurse assistane. The building is beautifully decorated both inside and out. Family members and friends may pick up their loved one for an outing or trip. There are gazebos and patio furniture outside as a place to relax. There are also many invitations open for family members to come and share in a fun socials. However, the doors are a little heavy, which can be difficult for many of the elderly residents to open. Apart from this one minor negative quality, Garden View is a peaceful, relaxing, joyful, safe, and relatively independent place for elderly to live. "

"Cornerstone Village is a little older, and it’s a clean facility. They had a friendly staff, very nice rooms and apartments, and a very nice dining area, and it was the largest of the five that I visited. They gave me a lunch, and it was fine. They had some scheduled visits and events. It was the only one out of a bunch where every apartment had an exit to a patio area. There was an entry from a hallway, but at the end of the living area, there was a door to a large patio area shared by several other apartments, and it was very nice. "

"We've seen The Blake at Lafayette. My mom lived there for a while. The facility is wonderful. I find the staff wonderful, but on some occasions they were not up to par with things that they should have done for my mom. She was not happy there. She was there a few months before she moved out. She never had a problem with the food, she enjoyed it. It is located very centrally to where my sister and I lived, it just happened to be in a great location."

"We chose Woodbriar Southern Style Assisted Living and Memory Care as a recommendation of someone, and they accepted my dad there. He's only been there a week. They've been very accommodating for getting him moved in and keep me abreast of how he's doing. They're usually very attentive and have interacted with him very well so far. They inquired what he likes to do and activities that he likes and they did inquire about his likes and dislikes. They do have a salon, they have a library, they have a walking area, like a courtyard, but it's more restricted. They've got a separate courtyard for memory care patients. It's very clean."

"The owners of Garden View were members of our church and my husband gets to give communion over there just about every Sunday until he had a stroke. I think it's an excellent place and one of the better facilities. It's only a few years old, and really very nice. "

"Eastridge Senior is in excellent condition and has excellent staff. I'm very glad I was able to get my mom in there quickly, as her health has improved since. She has a single apartment with one bathroom and one bedroom. It's a very nice place. She likes the food. Her appetite has improved, and she's eating three times a day."

"I am so glad that I had the opportunity to tour Plein de Vie Estates and speak with the owners of the company. It was so nice to have the owners of the company present and accessible, which was a first after viewing multiple properties. The home was absolutely beautiful and nothing like any other property we toured. It truly felt like home. The property itself looked stunning upon pulling up. The landscaping complimented the home. The home was rather spacious and complimented by a beautiful backyard, covered patio, and the view of a beautiful pond. The owners informed me that the goal of Plein de Vie was to provide an intimate level of care that you wouldn't be able to get at larger assited livings or nursing homes. They will only be admitting 10 residents and providing a staff to resident ratio that ensures all residents receive exceptional care. Staff were attentive and made us feel like VIPs. Plein de Vie had a full schedule for their residents to enjoy and appeared to offer everything that we could hope for. Transportation, medication administration, incontinence care, housekeeping, and memory care activities to slow cognitive decline due to dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I could not say enough good things about this place. Looking forward to having them care for my father!"

"It needs to be updated in the kitchen. It needs to be updated in the bathrooms.It needs a new paint job. The police need to patrol there more often.The road is bad not enough parking. It needs pest control. and better hours where your able to use the washing machine. "

"I toured Southwind Senior Living Suites and it was very nice. The rooms were very nice, it was very clean. It was more expensive but it was very nice. I saw a studio. I only met a couple of people. They were very nice, too, because they held the room for me, you know, for a day or so just till I made a decision, which I thought was nice, especially since it was after the hurricane and a lot of people were looking for places to stay. It was a little bit out of my friend's price range. Everything looked very clean. When you walked in, the main room looked very nice, it was decorated, the rooms were very clean. I think it was less than five years old. I didn't go out back. I know they have a little pond out front with some ducks in it, and they have a decent parking lot for families to park."
