The CNA’s are not optimum level for these sick clients. They bully and order clients around like they are children. Unprofessional. Do not place your loved one here.

My loved one was recently there and had wonderful care. Food is good and they cook deserts daily. Staff is nice and very compassionate. Management is wonderful to talk to and very supportive when issues come up. Nurse is there daily and was always available when I had a question. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants their loved one cared for like they are family.

The owner and HR is very rude. When I visited one of the homes, one of the staff was arguing with one of the residents about what to watch on tv. The house had an odor and was not the cleanest. I have work in this type of environment for 15+ years and know what to expect/ look for. If your loved one is a picky eater or likes to snack in between meal times, you will have to buy them groceries as meadowlark does not accommodate and sticks to a menu with no substitutes. Needless to say, I will not be bringing my loved one here.

Meadowlark is located on the west side of wichita and operates 6 home plus facilities that provide residential care for frail elderly and those with dementia. These are well kept homes in residential neighborhoods. The care is very personalized and is a great alternative to nursing home level of care. It is staffed by CNAs and the owner/operator has 20 years of nusing home administrator experience. Generally, these homes are the love child of their owners so they are well scrutinized and standards are high. Staffing can be a problem in 24 hour settings so just keep an eye on things...especially on weekends and at night.
