Cedar Falls Health Care Center's staff is very caring, and they're taking good care of my father-in-law. The residents play bingo and do exercises by moving their arms. The staff treats the residents well, and they have three meals. The staff is taking care of his needs. The staff is very helpful, attentive, and caring. We were there one night, and they brought his supper to his room.

When you walk into this agency, the smell of fecal matter and urine immediately greets you. The state requirement for one on one interaction is about 15 minutes per week, so the residents do not get much interaction time with the staff who work there. I have spoken with the activities director in-depth about the program that she runs, there are a variety of activities and outings for the residents to participate in. A lot of the individuals that live in the agency are lower functioning, but the facility as a whole seems to be adequately staffed. My grandmother stayed at this facility while recovering from a broken hip back in the mid 1990's, the place hasn't changed much from then. From talking to some of the residents, they report that the food is good, and that their basic needs are met by the agency. Given I have been to multiple facilities like this one, I would rate this place about 3 out of 5 stars.
